The Pokemon in the deck have a shared Weakness to Darkness. Fast and efficient Darkness-type attackers can quickly clear this challenge.

Because this deck has access to Budding Expeditioner, it is important to find a KO on Mew ex when possible.
Try to score a OHKO on it, or else your opponent may use Budding Expeditioner.

60 HP Pokemon are always in danger of getting KOd by Mewtwo ex because the deck has access to Giovanni.

Donphan ex is this deck's main attacker. It can attack and deal 50 damage for only one Energy as soon as it evolves. It can increase its damage by having more Energy attached, as well as having other cards such as Lucario and Red to support it.
Hitmonlee can be used as an early-game attacker if the player doesn't have Phanpy in their starting hand. Meanwhile, Marshadow functions as an effective secondary attacker after one of the player's other Pokemon has been knocked out.
Additionally, Donphan ex is not weak to Psychic, and is just outside of Mewtwo ex's OHKO range.

Type: Null is guaranteed to be your Basic Pokemon upon starting a match, since it's the only Basic Pokemon in this deck. You should be able to evolve it quickly with the help of Gladion and Professor's Research.
Once you have Silvally on hand, it's recommended to use Supporter cards every turn in order to boost your attack's damage to 100.
Silvally isn't your only source of damage on this deck, though. Rampardos allows you to have a bulkier Pokemon in your deck that can do a lot of damage without too much setup. You can get this Pokemon in this deck by using Rare Candy on a Skull Fossil.
