You want to start with Dialga ex and invest your first few turns giving it energy. Give it the Rocky Helmet to hold so you can deal chip damage while setting up.
Avoid dropping Yanma at the start to scope out if your opponent has any attackers that can hit your Bench like Spiritomb, as it will be very problematic if it gets brought out by Cyrus.

If you don't draw into Dialga ex, you can go for either Mew ex or Yanma. Prioritize getting Dialga ex as soon as possible with either the Poke Ball or Professor's Research.
If you put any energy on your Active Pokemon, use Dawn to move it to Dialga to get your Energy for Yanmega ex up faster.

What's the point of this when you can just use Melmetal, who's tankier, does the same damage, doesn't discard energy, and only gives 1 victory point?
