How to Use the Wonder Pick Feature

Wonder Pick lets you roll for a card from a set of five that another player has obtained in a Booster Pack in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket). Keep reading to see how to perform a Wonder Pick, how to refill your Wonder Stamina, and how to get foreign language cards.

How to Perform a Wonder Pick

Can be Found Under the Regular Booster Opening

In the Main menu, under the Regular Booster Pack opening button, you can find Wonder Pick there.

There, you can choose from a list of packs and spend 1 to 5 Wonder Stamina to randomly choose within the set of five cards.

Wonder Stamina is Determined by the Rarity of Cards

The rarity of the cards available in the set is what determines how much Wonder Stamina will be spent. For example a pack with a 2★ Card and a 4 Card can cost up to 4◆ Wonder Stamina!

How Long to Replenish Wonder Stamina

Sending Thanks

After performing a Wonder Pick, you can Send Thanks to the player that you chose to do a Wonder Pick with, and they'll receive some Shop Tickets in return!

What is Wonder Pick?

Obtain Cards from Booster Packs Opened by Other Players

Wonder Pick is a separate pulling mechanic where you can get one of five cards from a booster pack that was opened by another player. They won't lose that card, but you can just get a copy for yourself making it easier to nab a Chase Card!

What is a Rare Wonder Pick?

Chance to Obtain High Rarity Cards or Items

If you're lucky to find one there's a chance for you to get Rare Wonder Picks where you can obtain Hourglasses, Chansey Cards, or even a guaranteed high-rarity card! Make sure to check the Wonder Pick screen once in a while and keep your eyes peeled!

Keep in mind that you can't obtain three star or crown rares using Wonder Pick!

Chansey Pick and Bonus Pick are Available in Events

Chansey Pick and Bonus Pick are two types of special Wonder Picks that may only appear during certain events such as the Wonder Pick Event.

Packs Are Time-Gated

Certain sets and packs will be removed out of rotation after a certain period has passed. If see one you like that has expired, you need to use a Rewind Watch to keep pulling for that set and get another chance to get your Chase Card.

Wonder Stamina Recharge Rate

1 Stamina Regenerates Every 12 Hours

The Wonder Stamina Recharge Rate is 1 Stamina per 12 hours, which yields a total of 2 Stamina per day. This is a pretty lengthy time but it does recover while the game is closed. Make sure to never let your Wonder Stamina cap out to maximize its use!

Wonder Stamina Can Overflow for 36 Hours

While the main Wonder Pick screen only shows five Wonder Stamina, it can actually overflow to a maximum of 8 giving you and extra 36 hours before it fully caps out.

Use Wonder Hourglasses or Poke Gold

Wonder Stamina can only be refilled with Wonder Hourglasses or Poke Gold. Wonder Hourglasses can be obtained from missions just like the regular Pack Hourglasses, but you can also get one per day through the daily gift.

One Way to Get Foreign Language Cards Outside of Trading and Changing Languages

If you perform a Wonder Pick on a pack of a player playing a different language from you, you can get a card in that player's language. Cards in other languages will also be registered in the card dex.
