| SR Pikachu ex Deck Variants | Strengths and Weaknesses |
|---|---|
SR Pikachu ex and Pom-Pom Oricorio Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• This Pikachu ex has a high-damage Lightning-type move that can be used as a finisher. • Allows more freedom with deck slots compared to other high-damage Lightning decks due to Pikachu ex being a Basic Pokemon. • Makes use of multiple ways to generate Energy such as Zeraora and Pichu. Weaknesses: • Discards all its Energy upon attacking. • Pokemon in the deck have low HP, making them susceptible to getting OHKOd. |
Jolteon ex and Jolteon Deck
[★ New ★] |
Strengths:
• Inexpensive Attack in Mach Bolt, which can 2HKO most ex Pokemon. • Mega Rising Eevee allows you to immediately evolve into Jolteon ex, and start dealing damage with its Ability. • Has fast, single-point attackers that can be used in the early game. Weaknesses: • Jolteon ex's low HP makes it an easy target to Cyrus and KO. |
Pikachu ex and Pachirisu ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• This Pikachu ex has a high-damage Thunderbolt that can be used to immediately KO an opposing Pokemon. • Pachirisu ex is an efficient attacker that can deal 80 damage, 2HKOing most ex Pokemon. Weaknesses: • Both aces are ex Pokemon with low HP. • Has a difficult time against Fighting-types. |
Tapu Koko ex and Pikachu ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• All of the Pokemon in this deck are Basic Pokemon that are easy to set up. • Pikachu ex can deal with bulkier Pokemon thanks to its strong Thunderbolt. Weaknesses: • Only Zeraora can deal damage to Pom-Pom Oricorio. • Weak to Fighting-type decks and moves that deal additional damage to ex Pokemon. |
Pikachu ex and Luxray Deck
|
Strengths:
• Both Pokemon can easily KO non-ex Pokemon. • Volkner can provide Luxray with Energy after it is discarded. Weaknesses: • Both aces discard their energy, which can leave them reliant on Volkner. • Pikachu ex can easily be KOd for an easy 2 points. |

This deck can generate value as early as your first turn with Pokemon like Pichu and Zeraora, which can generate Energy. This synergizes with Elemental Switch, which can allow you to set up an alternate attacker quickly.
Pikachu ex from Shining Revelry works as a finisher for higher HP Pokemon, while Pikachu ex from Genetic Apex can do a consistent 120 damage if you have three Pokemon on your Bench.

This deck focuses on attacking quickly with Jolteon ex and Jolteon. By using the Mega Rising Eevee, you can evolve it right away and start doing damage on the turn you put it in play.
Shining Revelry Pikachu ex is used as a late-game finisher against bulkier opponents. On the other hand, Pom-Pom Style Oricorio is another early-game option. It may also be used to wall the opponent's ex Pokemon.
You may also evolve Sylveon ex to help you search for the cards that you need.

Tapu Koko ex is ideal to have as your first Basic Pokemon, since it can quickly set up with Plasma Hurricane. Then, from the second turn onwards, it's easy to spam Mach Bolt.
Zeraora is also a decent Pokemon to start with, since it is easy to set up. This is also the deck's only answer to Pom-Pom Oricorio, since it's the only non-ex Pokemon.
If you need a higher damage output move, the Thunderbolts of the Shining Revelry Pikachu ex can take down bulkier opponents. It's best to have this Pokemon on your bench at first to receive Energy once Tapu Koko ex or Zeraora are all set up. You can then switch to Pikachu ex if you need to deal with Pokemon with full or high HP.

This deck uses Pikachu ex's Thunderbolt to secure KOs against strong opponents. Volkner is used to transfer the discarded energy from Thunderbolt to Luxray, who can take the remaining points.

Pachirisu can provide Pikachu ex with Lightning energy with its move Plasma. This allows the player to attach the Energy they need to Pikachu ex while keeping it safe and dealing chip damage. It may also be optimal to Bench Shaymin in order to easily retreat Pachirisu without any cost, and then use Dawn to transfer one Lightning energy from Pachirisu to Pikachu ex.

Pikachu ex may not be able to KO certain Pokemon with higher HP or Pokemon equipped with the Giant Cape. In these cases, attaching the Rocky Helmet or using Red can help score you KOs.

Pikachu ex is not that bulky and is weak to Fighting-type Pokemon. Using Pokemon like Gallade ex or Garchomp ex not only gives you an offensive type advantage, but they can also survive an unboosted Thunderbolt. You may also opt to use Giant Cape to ensure that Pikachu ex doesn't take a knock out.
Garchomp ex Deck Strategy Guide and Card List

Fighting-types that are able to impose their offense will be able to outpace a Pikachu ex deck, especially if they're unable to get their Pikachu ex online in time.
Fast and efficient Fighting-types that can attack for few Energy are sure to get an upper hand in these matchups.

Pikachu ex's Thunderbolt has a steep Attack Cost at 3. Cards that can discard your opponent's Energy such as Beedrill ex and Team Rocket Grunt can help in denying it a turn to attack.
Do remember, however, that Beedrill ex and Team Rocket Grunt only discard Energy from the Active Pokemon.
