This deck runs Palkia ex, which is able to deal damage for only one Energy using Slash. Manaphy can set up the Pokemon in the deck with Oceanic Gift, fulfilling Palkia ex and Rayquaza ex's steep Attack Costs.

This deck runs similarly to the Giratina ex and Mewtwo ex deck, but with Mewtwo ex replaced by Rayquaza ex.
Unlike Mewtwo ex, Rayquaza ex does not need to discard Energy after using its Attack, so its strength is in its ability to use Draco Meteor in succession without the need for Dawn.

This is an updated version of Arceus ex and Dialga ex, but with Arceus ex replaced by Rayquaza ex. Arceus ex and Rayquaza ex have different weaknesses, so it is important to pick an attacker depending on your predicted metagame.

Passimian ex is the deck's early to mid-game attacker. Once it gets knocked out, it can transfer energy to Rayquaza ex with Offload Pass. Rayquaza ex can then be used as a finisher, being able to deal great damage with Draco Meteor.
Snorlax is in the deck to use against ex counters such as Pom-Pom Style Oricorio and Meowscarada. Barry can help reduce its attack cost to only two Energies.
If you start with Rayquaza ex or Snorlax, Ilima is useful to have on hand. You may play Ilima once Passimian ex is drawn. This returns the Active Pokemon into your hand without paying the high Retreat Cost.

Rayquaza ex's main feature is having Draco Meteor like Dragonite but is a Basic Pokemon. It has a more forgiving Attack Cost of 4 Colorless, but does slightly less damage than Dragonite. Rayquaza ex can put a total of 160 damage on the board but is highly inconsistent and reliant on luck.

Rayquaza ex, being a Colorless-type Pokemon, has lots of flexibility and can be paired slotted into decks of any type. Different types have varying support options and attackers, so consider trying different partner Pokemon and other deck combinations.

Evolution: Stage 2 Damage Output: 50 x 4 |
This is a comparison between three Pokemon whose Attacks have similar effects. Rayquaza ex is inferior to Dragonite and Wugtrio ex in terms of attack power, but does not require you to evolve. This is an advantage that Rayquaza ex has that the other two do not.
It is recommend that you use these Pokemon depending on what you prioritize: damage output, speed of set up, or consistency.

Although Rayquaza ex's Draco Meteor can deal a total of 160 damage, it is highly inconsistent because of the attack's random nature. Bench multiple Pokemon to lower its chances of knocking out your Pokemon.

Rayquaza ex is unable to damage Pom-Pom Style Oricorio because of its Safeguard Ability. This makes it so damage trades are never favorable, with only Oricorio being able to deal damage between them.
Magnezone is also easy to set up, even without the use of Rare Candy, and can outpace Rayquaza ex's own lengthy setup.

Why is Wugtrio ex in the comparison labelled as Basic in Evolution stage???
