Pack Points can be obtained by opening booster packs in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCGP). Keep reading to know what Pack Points are, how you can obtain and how to use your Pack Points, and how much you need to craft a certain type of card.
Pack Points are Pokemon TCG Pocket's equivalent of a Spark System. For every booster pack you open, you can get 5 Pack Points.
After accumulating a certain amount of points by opening Booster Packs, you can spend these points to guarantee getting a Chase Card.
Keep in mind that the rarer the card, the more points you need to spend to get the specific card. For example, it will take an F2P player 230 days of saving Pack Points to get a single Crown Rare Card, which has a golden crown icon for its rarity.
You can get 5 Pack Points per Booster Pack that you open. This will net you 10 Pack Points per day or 15 if you have the Premium Pass.
To be able to open more booster packs in a day, you can use Pack Hourglasses to shorten your Pack Stamina cooldown timer.

Sabrina | |
Effect | Switch out your opponent’s Active Pokemon to the Bench. (Your opponent chooses the new Active Pokemon.) |
---|
Sabrina is a powerful Trainer Card that, when activated, forces the opponent to switch their active Pokemon. It's a staple trainer card in almost all deck compositions due to its ability to disrupt your opponent's own strategy, allowing you to potentially take out a weaker card.
You can get this card from opening Charizard Booster Packs!

Articuno ex
Cost: 500 |
Starmie ex
Cost: 500 |
Misty
Cost: 70 |
Mewtwo Pack | Charizard Pack | Pikachu Pack |
We recommend getting cards that are not included in the packs that you're currently opening or have low rarity.
If building an Articuno EX Deck, you will most likely prioritize pulling Articuno ex from a Mewtwo Pack when rerolling, and then opening a Charizard Pack for Starmie ex.
It might be a waste to open a Pikachu Pack just to get Misty, so you can instead use the Pack Points you've earned to exchange a Misty card!
Getting pre-evolved or Stage 1 Pokemon is also a good choice for spending your Pack Points. These cards are relatively cheap, so you can get them easily as you open your booster packs!
Ex Cards cost 500 Pack Points which mean you have to open at least 100 Booster Packs. If you don't have the ex cards you need for your deck, we recommend instead to reroll to get the ex cards you want to get!
