With a full Bench, Mega Altaria ex can deal 130 damage to opponents, and it's fairly easy to set up. You can use Professor's Research, Poke Ball, and May to try to get all your Basic Pokemon into your hand as soon as possible.

Your attacker in the Active Spot can be kept healthy with Indeedee ex's Watch Over Ability. If you have two Indeedee ex on your Bench, you can heal up to 40 damage every turn. Additionally, Indeedee ex is a decent enough secondary attacker that can deal good damage to Pokemon with expensive Attack Costs like Mega Gyarados ex.

Although you'd want Mega Altaria ex as your primary attacker, Giratina ex is in this deck as another offensive option in case you need to swap Mega Altaria out. When going up against Pom-Pom Oricorio, there is also a regular Altaria in this deck that you can use to damage it.

Indeedee ex synergizes well with Giratina ex thanks to Watch Over's ability to heal HP from your Pokemon.

Because Giratina ex needs multiple turns to set up, it will inevitably take some damage, which Indeedee ex's Ability can help with.

Arceus ex is an alternate attacker, while non-ex Giratina serves as a tech against Pom-Pom Oricorio.

Espeon ex works well with Indeedee ex because of their Abilities that heal. With multiple copies of these Pokemon on the field, your Pokemon become increasingly difficult to OHKO.

Indeedee ex is also a solid backup attacker that can deal lots of damage to Pokemon with high Attack Costs such as Mega Gyarados ex and Giratina ex.

A single copy of Giratina ex is slotted in as another backup attacker, and as a source of Energy for later in the game that you can use to power up a backup attacker using Dawn.

Gengar ex works both as an attacker and a disruptor, preventing your opponent from using Supporter cards. Indeedee ex is used as a supporting Pokemon in the Bench, healing its damaged allies.

You may switch Indeedee ex in to the Active Spot when dealing with Pokemon with high Attack Costs. Since Psychic deals more damage against enemies with a lot of Energy attached, Indeedee ex has the capability of landing OHKOs against certain threats.

You may use the non-ex Gengar in this deck to counter Pom-Pom Style Oricorio.

(P-A 002)

・A copy of X Speed can help with your Pokemon's Retreat Costs.

Indeedee ex Deck Strategy Guide

Heal Your Main Attackers

Indeedee ex can heal 20 damage from the Pokemon in your Active Spot. If you have two of them in the Bench, you can heal 40 damage. Use this to your advantage to avoid getting KO'd.

Attack Energy-Hungry Pokemon

Indeedee ex's Psychic works very effectively against attackers that need a lot of Energy to be viable.

If you are facing ex Pokemon cards that need at least four Energy for their big attacks, you will likely easily defeat them as you will be able to deal 150 damage.

Increase Indeedee ex's HP

Indeedee ex only has 130 HP, which means it is relatively frail compared to other ex Pokemon. To remedy this, you may attach the Giant Cape to increase its HP to 150.

How to Beat Indeedee ex Decks

Inflict Additional Damage

You may deal additional damage to counter Indeedee ex's healing. Greninja and Darkrai ex have Abilities that can deal consistent chip damage. You may also use the Rocky Helmet Pokemon Tool.

Inflict Status Conditions

Status Conditions such as Poison and Burn can also deal additional damage. You may inflict these on your opponent's Pokemon to make up for the HP that they healed.

All Status Effects Explained

Use Energy-Efficient Pokemon

Indeedee ex cannot do much damage to Pokemon with less Energy attached. It is recommended that you use Pokemon with low Attack Costs against it to minimize damage.
