Since this deck consists of mainly Basic Pokemon, it should not be too difficult, but using Lightning-Type Pokemon should speed up getting a victory!

Lapras with 4 energy can be hard to deal with, even when using evolved Pokemon. Make sure to take out Lapras quickly, or finish the game before the AI can stack energy on Lapras!
For this battle, the AI will typically prioritize stacking energy on Staryu or Lapras, so having a Sabrina card prepared can come in handy to save you from an unfavorable position.

Pikachu ex is a great pick against Lapras and Lapras ex, since they need lots of energy, while Pikachu only needs Basic Lightning-type Pokemon benched to be able to deal lots of damage.
If you do not have Pikachu ex, you can make use of the Sabrina card, along with other Lightning-type Pokemon to score points while disrupting the energy stacking on Lapras.
