Decidueye ex and Lurantis can be formidable opponents with their High HP and low Attack Cost. It is easier to defeat them while they are still in their Basic evolutions as Rowlet and Fomantis.
Keep in mind that Rare Candy is present in this deck, so Rowlet can be immediately evolved into Decidueye ex with the right hand.
Also beware of HP cards like Erika and Lillie who can heal a large amount of HP, and the Leaf Cape, which can increase the max HP of the opponent's Grass pokemon by 30.

Cards like Sabrina and Cyrus both have abilities that can force a Pokemon from the Bench into the Active Spot. Use them strategically to land more direct attacks.

The Rare Candy can be used on Basic Pokemon to immediately evolve them into Stage 2 Pokemon. This will allow you to speed up your deck set-ups and cast more powerful attacks as early as possible.

With a low energy cost, cards like Ninetales and Rapidash can counter the speed of Lurantis and the efects of Rare Candy. They can attack as early as 2 turns, and can deal bonus damage with the type advantage.

To get stronger hits against Decidueye ex, you can opt to bring Red in your deck. Red will add 20 damage to your Pokemon's attack if it is facing off against an ex Pokemon card in the Active Spot.

This Darkrai ex variation has access to a devastating 90 damage strategy as early as turn 2 with a good hand.
Attach an Energy to a benched Darkrai ex, triggering Nightmare Aura and dealing 20 damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon. Afterwards, use Dawn to transfer the energy to your Active Weavile ex, attacking with Scratching Nails for 70. This deck can achieve this combo fairly easily.

To complete the 3◇ Battle Task, use the Ninetales and Blaine Deck for a low energy and quick build Fire Deck.
Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.
Combined with the +20 type advantage, Ninetales can easily OHKO Lurantis. If you are early enough, you can also immediately KO Rowlet before it can evolve into Decidueye ex.
