Plan out your decks using our deck builder tool to see if it follows all the game rules. If a deck does not follow the regulations, you will be unable to use that deck in battle.

You can have up to 3 types of energy in a deck. When you have multiple energies in battle, keep in mind that energy will be produced in a random order. It might take longer to set up pokemon attacks without the right energy.
For most meta decks, you will only need 1 type of energy.
