Pachirisu ex and Pawmot are both used as main attackers in this deck. Both have low Attack Costs, so they can attack rather quickly.
It is ideal to use Pachirisu ex in the early game while Pawmot is set up in the bench. However, Pawmi and Pawmo are also effective early game Pokemon to use if Pachirisu ex is not drawn yet.

Pawmot is safer to build in the Bench since it's a Stage 2 Pokemon. You may use an Energy-efficient Basic Pokemon such as Pachirisu ex as your Active Pokemon in the early game.

Alternatively, you can start with Pawmi in the Active Spot. Since Pawmi and Pawmo have efficient Attack Costs, they can deal good chip damage before fully evolving to Pawmot. You may keep them healthy by equipping the Giant Cape.

Pawmot's Counterattack Ability damages your Pokemon upon being attacked. To keep your Pokemon healthy, you may heal them with Pokemon Center Lady or Potion. You may also opt to equip the Giant Cape.
HP Recovery and Healing Cards List

The faster you take down Pawmot, the less Counterattack damage your Pokemon takes. You may use Rampardos as it is an Energy-efficient single point attacker.
Alternatively, you may have Lucario on the Bench to boost the attack of any Fighting-type Active Pokemon. You will deal +40 damage after factoring in the Type advantage, increasing your chances to KO Pawmot.
Best Fighting Type Deck and Cards Tier List

Since Pawmot may take time to set up, you can take advantage by knocking out its pre-evolutions. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.
