Use Low Attack Cost Lightning Pokemon

You want to defeat Palkia ex before it can use its Dimensional Storm, so use fast Lightning Pokemon like Pikachu ex and Electrode. They are not only quick-to-build, but their moves will hit harder with the type advantage.

Attack Benched Pokemon

Palkia ex has high HP and can be very aggressive in the early game, so you want Pokemon that can aim at the Bench like Zebstrika or Luxray to pick off low HP Pokemon.

Force Pokemon into the Active Spot

Cards like Sabrina and Cyrus both have abilities that can force a Pokemon from the Bench into the Active Spot. Use them strategically to land more direct attacks.

Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.

Ninetales can easily OHKO Vaporeon and take down Palkia ex within 2 turns.

Additionally, Rotom can punish opponents for equipping the Giant Cape or other tools, while Dawn can be used as a means of transferring energy from a benched Pokemon to the one in your active spot, allowing you to attack with your Ace card quicker.
