Dialga ex can consistently power up an Arceus ex, which can attack for as much as 130 the following turn. Because Arceus ex is a basic, it doesn't need to find evolutions like the other Dialga ex partners.
Space-Time Smackdown Shaymin is useful for helping your Pokemon stay out of KO range.

Melmetal ex has a hefty Attack Cost, requiring 4 Energy to use Metal Arms. Dialga ex is used as its Energy accelerator, attacking in the early game with Metallic Turbo.
To increase the damage of Metal Arms, Melmetal ex requires a Pokemon Tool. This deck has the Steel Apron and Rocky Helmet, providing damage reduction and additional chip damage respectively.
This deck has Magearna to counter Pom-Pom Style Oricorio. Steel Cannon deals additional damage to Pokemon with Abilities, allowing Magearna to score the OHKO.

Magearna is also added in the deck in case you are facing Pom-Pom Oricorio which counters your ex Pokemon, and is capable of dealing some damage on its own.

Dialga ex pairs nicely with Melmetal, helping it overcome its weakness of having a high costing Attack by accelerating Energy with Metallic Turbo. Melmetal can then OHKO most Basic Pokemon or 2HKO exs.

Dialga ex and Mew ex are joined by Yanmega ex, who is a powerful Grass-type Attacker introduced in Space-Time Smackdown. It notably has a Colorless Attack Cost, which means it can benefit from Dialga ex's Metallic Turbo. It can also OHKO Darkrai ex unless it has a Giant Cape.
120 damage is also a great damage benchmark to hit, as Yanmega ex can also OHKO Pikachu ex and Pachirisu ex.

Bastiodon is a difficult Pokemon to go up against once set up, and oftentimes players concede at the sight of it. Its Guarded Grill Ability makes it very difficult to KO.
Mew ex is also in this list because of its synergy with Dialga ex. Its Genome Hacking allows it to KO the likes of Palkia ex or Charizard ex.

Porygon-Z is a highly disruptive Stage 2 Pokemon that can deny its opponents from ever getting the correct Energy from the Energy Zone.
While highly disruptive, this deck is also highly inconsistent. It offers fun and unique lines of play that other, more competitive decks may not have. Consider trying this fun deck in Random Matches.

Lickilicky ex is a fun partner for Dialga ex, which it can also power up with Metallic Turbo.
Lickilicky ex and Lickitung suffer from having heavy Retreat Costs, though, so starting with Lickitung or having a Lickilicky ex without Energy is disadvantageous. To remedy this, the deck runs multiple copies of Leaf and X Speed to make sure that they can retreat into Dialga ex.
Mew ex has the lightest Retreat Cost in the deck, and also benefits from Dialga ex's acceleration. It can attack with Genome Hacking to KO the likes of Palkia ex or Charizard ex.

Dialga ex is your ideal start in any Dialga ex Deck, and you would always want a turn 1 Energy attachment into a turn 2 Metallic Turbo.
It can also pivot from an accelerator to an attacker with the use of Dawn, by transfering an Energy from a Benched Pokemon and a turn attachment of Energy, which meets the Energy requirement of Heavy Impact.

Dialga ex can handily power up its partners sitting on the Bench. Once they're set up, retreat Dialga ex and start attacking with your primary attackers!

Gallade ex is a tough deck to go up against. Their Hitmonlees are able to chip out Dialga ex's Benched partners and put them into range of an eventual Marshadow Revenge KO.
Additionally, Gallade ex's Energized Blade gets stronger for each Energy attached to our Active Pokemon, making it even easier for it to score KOs against Dialga ex decks.
Best Gallade ex Decks and Card List

Beedrill ex can sometimes be a problem if it is able to quickly set up. Going up against a Beedrill ex while Dialga ex lacks a second Energy means that it won't be able to successfully use Metallic Turbo.
Team Rocket Grunt supports this gameplan, further denying Dialga ex of essential Energy to pay for its Attack Cost.
