The Eevee synergizes extremely well with Sylveon ex in giving you card advantage. Meanwhile, the Rescue Scarf is a decent Tool Card for Basic Pokemon focused decks.

Crobat ex and Umbreon ex are amazing pulls in this pack thanks to their synergy with the top Meta Card, Darkrai ex. The Dark Pendant also works well in their favor by disrupting your opponent's hand.

Skarmory ex and Jasmine then form the core a strong and tanky Deck, with the Steel Apron helping with those pesky Status Conditions like Burn or Poison.

Ho-Oh ex is an amazing Energy Accelerator especially for Lugia ex, Dragonite ex, or other Colorless Decks. Magby is an amazing going first card for Fire-type decks like Incineroar ex or both Charizard ex's.

You may also want to pick up Silver as its a great generalist cards for locking yopur opponent out of key Supporter Cards like Misty or Professor's Research.

The notable cards from this pack are Typhlosion, Xatu, and Will which form an amazing core that can be used to take down almost any Pokemon in one turn.

Espeon ex is a great pull for Sylveon ex decks, meanwhile Lugia ex is just a good attacker especially with Elemental Switch and Ho-oh ex.

Pichu and Cleffa are good cards to grab as the former is a good Energy Accelerator for Electric Decks while Cleffa is just a good generalist Searcher. Lyra can be used in lieu of Leaf for those tankier Pokemon with higher Retreat Costs.

Wisdom of Sea and Sky released on July 30th, 2025. It is the ninth overall expansion after Eevee Grove.

Fourth Major Expansion in Pokemon TCG Pocket

TCGP Wisdom of Sea and Sky

Wisdom of Sea and Sky, which uses the code A4, is the fourth main expansion after Celestial Guardians in Pokemon TCG Pocket and revolves around Pokemon and Trainers from the Johto Region which was first introduced in the Generation 2 games Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver.

This features fan-favorite starters such as Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, as well as the cover legendaries for the mainline games, Ho-oh and Lugia. As well as Baby Pokemon which were introduces in the same region!

The problem would be drawing Magikarp/Gyarados out of the other 16 Pokemon :(

That new Gyarados card looks like it will work very well for the AI battle missions where you can't use items or supports. You'll have plenty of disposable Pokemon to power it up.
