The Rayquaza ex Drop Event ran from April 30, 2025 to May 13, 2025.
This event allowed players to participate in solo AI battles featuring the Rayquaza ex card, along with receiving useful rewards by completing battle-related missions.
To participate in solo battles, you will need to use Event Stamina. Event Stamina is consumed for each win, meaning that losing won’t affect your stamina in this mode.
Additionally, you can replenish Event Stamina with Event Hourglasses, which you can earn as rewards from the beginner and intermediate solo battles, or Poke Gold.

You can also get a Promo Rayquaza ex card along with other promo cards from Promo-A Vol. 7 as a Rayquaza ex Drop Event reward.
You have a chance to get this pack whenever you complete a match against the AI, but expert battles are guaranteed to reward you with this pack, so it is a good idea to farm these matches to collect all the cards!

Whenever you receive a promo pack as a reward, you can open it in your gift list found in the upper right of the main menu.
A pack only contains one of the available promo cards, so try to get and open as many packs as you can!

In Event Solo Battles, you can battle against different decks that scale on difficulty. Once you have defeated a deck, the next deck will be unlocked containing harder cards than the last.
There are only 4 levels of Solo Battle: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert—with Expert giving you a guaranteed card pack pull from the event.
| Card Name | Details |
|---|---|
![]() (A1 106) |
HP: 90 This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. |

HP: 130 Discard all Lightning Energy from this Pokemon. This attack does 120 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. |
Greninja is a part of the Rayquaza ex Decks in the later levels, so it is generally good to have a Lightning Pokemon like Zebstrika or Luxray who can also target the Bench. They could also snipe low HP cards and interrupt builds, giving you the most control over the board.
Best Luxray Decks and Card List

With the threat of Rayquaza ex's special move and Greninja's bench sniping ability, you should use the Giant Cape to increase the HP of Pokemon who are at the risk of being OHKO by their attacks.

Pom-pom Oricorio is good for being an aggressive card in the early game and could negate Rayquaza ex's Attacks, but only if it is also in the Active Spot.
Use Oricorio to take out low HP Pokemon, then switch to Magnezone to deal heavier damage against opponents. If Rayquaza ex comes out, switch in Oricorio and chip away until its HP is low enough for Magnezone to deal the finishing blow.

Losing or conceding during the event battles does not consume Event Stamina, as it is only used up whenever you win a match.
This means that if you lose against your AI opponent or fail to complete one of the missions you are trying to complete, you can always try again without worrying about your stamina!
