Wugtrio ex's attack can deal a total of 150 damage to random targets with 3 energy. This makes it possible to chip the opponent's backline or completely obliterate a Benched Pokemon as they're being set up.

Additionally, Wugtrio ex being a Stage 1 evolution makes it easier to complete, especially with the help of Pokemon Communication.

Blitz Your Opponent with Palkia ex

If you drew Palkia ex early with Manaphy or Misty, you can funnel all your energy to Palkia ex and send it in to take a point or two. Its Dimensional Storm can OHKO most cards. If it doesn't, Palkia ex can finish them off with Slash.

Having Palkia ex in this deck also gives you an alternative attacker in case your Wugtrio ex hasn't finished setting up yet.
