|---|---|
Wugtrio ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Depends solely on Wugtrio ex for damage. • Needs manual Energy attachments and Misty for Energy. Weaknesses: • Luck is a huge factor for Wugtrio ex. • Misty and Team Rocket Grunt are also luck-dependent. • Difficult matchups against decks with high-HP Pokemon. |
Suicune ex and Wugtrio ex Deck[★ New ★] |
Strengths:
• Suicune ex incentivizes the opponent to keep their Bench clear, which is good for focusing Wugtrio ex's attack on one card. • Mantyke can accelerate Energy for your other Pokemon. Weaknesses: • Lacks necessary damage output to KO higher HP threats. • Wugtrio ex can rely heavily on luck. |
Wugtrio ex and Palkia ex Deck |
• Has two effective attackers in Wugtrio ex and Palkia ex • Pokemon in the deck can be loaded with Energy using Manaphy and Misty. |
Wugtrio ex and Shaymin |
• The deck has lots of flexibility with its Retreat thanks to Shaymin's Sky Support Ability. • Relies heavily on Wugtrio ex's Pop Out Throughout Attack for damage which makes this variant lots of fun to play. |

This Wugtrio ex deck can be very consistent on setup, but is largely luck-dependent in execution. Cards like Misty and Team Rocket Grunt both require lucky flips to be successful.
Potion and Irida can keep our Wugtrio exs healthy, while Giant Cape keeps Wiglett out of KO range from Pokemon like Carnivine and Skarmory.

Mantyke functions as the deck's Energy accelerator, helping set up its teammates faster. Suicune ex works as a great early-game attacker while Wugtrio ex can sweep in the late game.
The deck's primary attackers synergize well because of how their attacks work. Suicune ex incentivizes the opponent to keep their Bench empty, which is good for focusing Wugtrio ex's attack on one Pokemon. On the other hand, Wugtrio ex incentivizes the opponent to fill out their Bench, which then increases Suicune ex's damage.

This deck composition has access to two effective attackers in Wugtrio ex and Palkia ex. While Palkia ex can be more consistent with the damage it can deal, Wugtrio ex can deal lots more without the need to expend resources. This comes at the cost of being reliant on luck, however, but it also runs the chance of taking out a low HP Benched Pokemon on your opponent's side of the field.

Shaymin's Retreat Cost reduction can benefit your Articuno and Wigletts, allowing them to retreat at will and save themselves from getting KOd. Manaphy and Misty can load up your Pokemon with Energy and have them ready to attack in just a few turns.

![]() Pokemon Communication (A2 146) |
![]() ![]() • A copy of Pokemon Communication can help the deck be more consistent in finding evolution cards for your Wugtrio ex line. |

Wugtrio ex's attack can deal a total of 150 damage to random targets with 3 energy. This makes it possible to chip an opponent's Benched Pokemon or completely KO a Benched Pokemon as they're being set up.
Additionally, Wugtrio ex being a Stage 1 evolution makes it easier to complete, especially with the help of Pokemon Communication.

Few attackers can deal 50 damage on the first turn. Pokemon like Carnivine and Skarmory can do exactly this.
This forces the Wugtrio player to evolve a Wiglett before it has the required Energy for Pop Out Throughout and take additional damage as Wugtrio ex.
