Pom-Pom Oricorio's Ability essentially shuts down any opposing ex Pokemon, which can help you set up Magnezone in your Bench.
Once set up, you can bring out Magnezone to the Active Spot and, with the help of Giant Cape, withstand any attack while easily eliminating non-ex Pokemon with its powerful 110 damage attack.
This deck runs Chingling, which synergizes with Copycat. Chingling's Jingly Noise can shut your opponents out of using Item Cards, increasing their hand count, which in turn can cause Copycat to draw more cards.
The deck also runs single-point Pokemon exclusively, forcing opponents to take three KOs to win a match.

When the HP of the opponent's Defending Pokemon is within range, evolve Magneton into Magnezone and finish them off.

Meowscarada is played alongside Magnezone in this deck. While it may have consistency problems because of multiple Stage 2 lines in the deck, having both Meowscarada and Magnezone ready can often lead to you winning games.
Genetic Apex Magneton can set itself up with Energy using its Volt Charge Ability, allowing you to attack with Magnezone on a later turn.
Magnezone is especially useful for knocking out single-point Pokemon that Meowscarada may have trouble with, while Meowscarada can deal with exs.

This is a good going first deck that focuses on accelerating energy with Kiawe, and attacks from the early game with Turtonator and Magnezon. If you have Kiawe and Turtonator in your opening hand, you can hit for 90 damage on your second turn, making this a very aggressive deck.

Darkrai ex and Magnezone has positive matchups against most top decks, including Palkia ex decks or Articuno ex decks.
Druddigon is the best early-game stall Pokemon, which is perfect for Darkrai ex and Magnezone which are rewarding payoffs for the late-game. Druddigon's Rough Skin + an Energy attachment to Darkrai ex will result in 40 damage per turn, all while Magneton charges in the Bench with Volt Charge.
The deck uses Space-Time Smackdown Magnemite over Genetic Apex Magnemite because of its Attack's Colorless Attack Cost, which it can use for Darkness Energy.
This deck has to watch out for Meowscarada decks, however, as they can take out your Darkrai exs and swing the point trades in their favor.

Druddigon makes an appearance in this deck list as well, as it is the ideal early-game stall Pokemon. Because you run two Stage 2 lines in the deck, starting with Druddigon would always be ideal.
This deck also has a limited number of Trainer Cards, with most of the deck comprising of Pokemon. This means that your options on your turn are limited.
Because of its deck composition, this deck is unlikely to be consistent. However, this deck offers fun and unique lines of play that other, more competitive decks may not have. Consider trying this fun deck in Random Matches.

Magnezone's teammates can put most Pokemon into Magnezone's KO range. Hitmonlee, Darkrai ex, and Skarmory can all be offensive threats on their own, setting up KOs for Magnezone.

Magneton's Volt Charge Ability can help you load up on Energy for Magnezone to use when it has to go for KOs. Do remember that it only has 80 HP and can easily be knocked out. Keep it as Magneton if you still need Energy, but evolve it if you're anticipating your opponent to gust it out with a Cyrus or Sabrina.

Magnemite and Magneton typically would not want to be Active until they are ready as Magnezone. Force them out with Sabrina or Cyrus.
You can also damage Magnemite on the Bench with Hitmonlee.

Most non-ex Fighting-type Pokemon can easily knock out Magnemite and Magneton, and will have no problem taking on Magnezone's teammates, such as Pom-Pom Oricorio.
