The Frostmoon Scions are one of the main factions in Nod-Krai who are known to worship and are very faithful to their so-called deity, the Moon Goddess.
They are the descendants of an ancient civilization, who chose to leave their homeland and live their new lives amongst the mountains and forest of Hiisi Island.

The Frostmoon Scions was featured in the Nod-Krai Livestream, named Let's Start with Nod-Krai - Behind the Scenes of Genshin Impact, last April 30, 2025!
According to the game devs, Frostmoon Scions are residents of Nod-Krai who posses special powers and are based on druids and Celtic mythology.

Introduced in Song of the Welkin Moon
The Frostmoon Scions were introduced in the Song of the Welkin Moon, where they showed a glimpse of its backstory. The earliest piece of historical information stated there was that they came from an ancient golden civilization.
They are usually found in Hiisi Island, an area within Nod-Krai, praying to the moonlight with immense devotion which resembles their beloved deity, the Moon Goddess.
