Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar is a hidden boss and is one of the Local Legends of Natlan located southwest of the Masters of the Night-Wind settlement in Genshin Impact 5.2. Check out where to find it and how to beat it in this guide!
Where to Find Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar
Found West of the Masters of the Night-Wind Settlement
Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar is fought by interacting with the Nightsoul Totem around southwest of the Masters of the Night-Wind's settlement in the Tezcatepetonco Range.
After teleporting to the nearest waypoint, indwell a Qucusaur and find a Phlogiston Wind Tunnel on the side of the cliff. Enter it, and while it may take you to the other side instead of on top, it'll be much faster from there.
How to Defeat Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar
Break the Spirit's Shield
The Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar will have a phase during the battle where it will fly out of reach, encase the surrounding braziers and itself with ice, then unleash an incredibly devastating Cryo attack.
To counteract this and force the Spirit to fall, you'll need to break the Spirit's Cryo shield. For this, don't forget to bring along Pyro characters or anyone that can proc Pyro, especially ranged ones!
Knock It Off the Air
One good way of keeping the Spirit grounded is by forcing it off the air the moment you see it take off. A good and powerful explosion should do the trick—make use of the Overload reaction!
Keep in mind that for this to work, you will need characters that can reach flying enemies.
Melt the Ice Off of the Braziers
If you don't have any ranged Pyro characters, you can still force the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar down by melting the ice off of the surrounding braziers. Do be warned that this will take significantly longer time.
Be sure to bring your best Pyro characters for the job. The more Pyro characters that can contribute to melting the ice, the better!

Taking Chasca's ability to fire bullets of the same elemental type as her party members, triggering Overload will be a breeze if you bring her along. With Chasca in the party, you will be able to force the Spirit down as much as possible.
This will also work like a charm in taking down the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar's Cryo shield.

A good alternative to taking on the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar is by bringing a party that is heavily centered around Pyro. Bringing Lyney can enable him to take down the Spirit's Cryo shield from afar.
Arlecchino's DMG output is extremely high. When either of them are paired with characters such as Kazuha or Xilonen who can provide substantial DMG support, they will be able to take down the Spirit in record time!

Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar is fought by accessing a Nightsoul Totem which means it does not exist in the overworld. Therefore, you can fight this Local Legend as many times as you can without waiting for server reset.

Anonymous 4 monthsJust give amber as much ER% as possible and call it a day, I literally beat him just with her and bennett (And I didn't even need him) because he takes SO much fall damage when you break his shield
