There are a total of 16 Local Legends as of the release of Natlan in Version 5.2. Ten (10) of them are fought by interacting with a Nightsoul Totem, a special kind of interactable structure in Natlan that teleports you to the Night Kingdom to fight.

 Found in a caged room in the cave to the left of the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits Domain. Find two "Keys to Somewhere" inside the cave and open the caged room. |
 Bronzelock |
 Go the island noted above and break all Koholasaur flowlight targets to summon the spiritway that will take you to Bronzelock's sky island. |
 Chimalli's Shade |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem in the Ancestral Temple. |
 Cihuacoatl of Chimeric Bone |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem atop a square rock formation to the south of the Scions of the Canopy. |
 Cocijo |
 Go to the circular arena to the south of the Toyac Springs Statue of the Seven and break all Electro Crystals. Bring a Pyro character for this purpose. |
 He Never Dies |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem on the plateau near the pond east of the Ancestral Temple. |
 Ichcahuipilli's Aegis |
 Solve the puzzle in Huitztli Hill to expose the Nightsoul Totem. Approach and interact with it to fight the Local Legend. |
 Ironbeard |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem found northeast of Flower-Feather Clan. |
 Polychrome Tri-Stars |
 Can be found near the pond atop the plateau to the west of Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant. You will be fighting three Snezhnayan enemies all at once so be careful! They will only appear in the day as well so wait it out if it's nighttime. |
 Potapo's Solidarity |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem found to the west of the Stadium at the base of two waterfalls. |
 Rilai |
 Approach the lady playing an instrument southwest of the Masters of the Night-Wind and attack her to start the fight. |
 Sappho Amidst The Waves |
 Approach the multiple boulder formation near Tepeacac Rise and attack the lady playing an instrument surrounded by animals. |
 Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem found on top of the cliff southwest of Masters of the Night-Wind. |
 Tlatzacuilotl |
 Solve the puzzle using a Tepetlisaurus by going underground and attacking all markers that appears. It will open a cave that contains a Nightsoul Totem that you need to interact with. |
 Tupayo's Aid |
 Approach and interact with the Nightsoul Totem found on top of the cliff next to the Statue of the Seven. Use a Qucusaur and climb up the cliff using its tunnel. |

 Underwater south of Salacia Plain. You can find the Pale Forgotten Glory domain nearby. |
 Ocean Circuit Judge |
 Dive in the middle of The Great Fontaine Lake and you should see it guarding a chest. |
 Fading Veteran |
 Dive south of the Elton Trench, but a little closer to the surface than the sea floor. You can spot a bunch of shipwrecks down below. |
 Yseut |
 Climb the cliff right beside the Liffey Region's Statue of The Seven. Keep heading forward and you will see Yseut on a wooden platform with torches. |
 Luachra the Brilliant |
 Teleport to the Waypoint south of the Millenial Pearl Seahorse. Head northwest until you see it surrounded by a bunch of seaweed. |
 Automated Supercomputing Field Generator |
 North of the Teleport Waypoint northeast of the Central Laboratory Ruins. You will see it on a patch of land with no grass. |
 Liam |
 Northeast of the southeast Teleport Waypoint of the Weeping Willow. You will see him in a small path way next to a pond. |
 Rocky Avildsen |
 From the Teleport Waypoint northwest of Weeping Willow of the Lake, head east and look for a small hut. |
 Mageblade Corrouge |
 From the southeast underwater waypoint of Weeping Willow, simply swim toward to the open area. You need to progress the Wild Fairy of Erinnyes to get to this location. |
 Chassanion |
 Swim southwest toward the Tower of Ipsissimus after teleporting to the south underwater waypoint. |
 Deianeira of Snezhevna |
 From the south underwater waypoint, swim towards southeast and into the ruin. You need to progress the An Expected Plan Quest to get to this location. |
 Cineas |
 From any of the Teleport Waypoints near Clivus Capitolinus, swim down south until you reach one of the two entrances to the cavern. You must progress Canticles of Harmony to access this area. |

Defeating Local Legends the first time grants travelers a Hidden Achievement and a Chest. Each Legend guarantees one Hidden Achievement, which means you'll get a total of 80 Primogems by defeating them!

For those that are fighting "He Never Dies" I found it wayyyyy easier to use claymore characters (I used Eula and Raiden) to interrupt his ultimate. On the contrary, I found it extremely difficult to use an Overload team to interrupt his ult. Also, cheesing the fight with Jean's skill so he takes massive amount of fall damage was a very quick method to killing him. I used Venti's ult first to make him airborne with ease and used Jean's skill at the tail end of his ult. Happy fighting !
