Where to Find He Never Dies
Capybara Boss Found To the West of Ancestral Temple
He Never Dies is found on the plateau near the pond east of the Ancestral Temple. You can easily reach the pond by teleporting to the waypoint directly abve it.
You can fight the capybara boss by interacting with the Nightsoul Totem and participating in its Night's Trial.
How to Defeat He Never Dies
Proc Overloaded When He's Charging
When He Never Dies is charging his big, one-hit KO attack, proc Overloaded as much as possible. This will build up interruption within the enemy and can therefore cancel the attack altogether. It will also be stunned after so you can dish out more damage!
Recommended Team Against He Never Dies
At the start of the battle, you are told to "interrupt He Never Dies while charging" using interruptible attacks. One reaction comes to mind for this: Overloaded.
Overloaded has an inherent interruption capability and since He Never Dies is a small enemy, you can definitely juggle him.

A simple overload team with Chevreuse is the perfect loadout for this Local Legend. Chevreuse is the ultimate Overload buffer, so it is just necessary to have her in the best team against He Never Dies.
Use Any Pyro-Electro Combination

Use Anemo Characters
Jean's skill can easily lift the boss up in the air which will deal significant fall damage. However this won't interrupt the boss's charge attack thus players should still do their best to dodge it.
Additionally, Venti, Wanderer and Kazuha's skill will allow you to fly during the charge attacks, making it easier to dodge.
Use Claymore Characters When He's Charging
As soon as the boss starts his charge attack, change to your claymore character, and immediately hit him with a charge attack. After a few seconds, the boss will be stunned which will stop his charge attack.

Anonymous 7 monthsThe best way I've found to deal with the capybara is to solo it with Mavuika and Ororon, with maybe a healer. Mavuika's nightsoul burst triggers Ororon's nightshade synesthesia, allowing you to infinite it to death, while punting it around like a football with Mavuika's motorcycle. It also makes getting all of the achievements related to it easy.

i really recommend use a claymore chara that spinning while charged attack (its 100% can stop capybara burst) and capybara cannot hit u while on air so bring ororon/citlali or chara that can fly.
