Tupayo's Aid is a hidden boss and is one of the Local Legends of Natlan located west of the Flower-Feather Clan settlement in Genshin Impact 5.2. Check out where to find it and how to beat it in this guide!
Tupayo's Aid is fought by interacting with the Nightsoul Totem hard west of the Flower-Feather Clan's settlement in the Quahuacan Cliff.
It is found on top of a butte, and can easily be accessed by indwelling a Qucusaur and entering the Phlogiston Wind Tunnel to get to the top instantly.
Tupayo's Aid will summon gaseous Phlogiston currents, which are basically wind currents infused with Phologiston and works almost exactly the same way. It will push you upward and restore Pholigiston in the process.
While these currents are on field, Tupayo's Aid will start charging up an attack. Use these currents to deliver a Plunging Attack to cancel its attack and render it vulnerable for a short duration.
Taking into account Tupayo's Aid's weakness to Plunging Attacks during its charging state, it would be wise to bring along characters that can initiate Plunging Attacks on their own.
This way, you won't need to rush for the gaseous Phlogiston currents. Once you see them go up, you can simply initiate a Plunging Attack in place using your character to immediately incapacitate Tupayo's Aid!
One variant of Tupayo's Aid's gaseous Phlogiston attack will have it float high up in the air with three rings surrounding it.
Use the gaseous Phlogiston currents to lift yourself up, then pass through the rings. If you make contact with Tupayo's aid, it should incapacitate it in the same manner as previously mentioned.
Main DPS | Support | Support | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Diluc | Xianyun | Bennett | Xilonen |
Neuvillette | Kazuha | Furina | Xilonen |
Xiao | Faruzan | Bennett | Zhongli |
With Tupayo's Aid's weakness to Plunging Attacks in mind, bringing along Xianyun or Xiao is pretty much a given. These teams will enable as much plunging attacks as possible, even without the use of gaseous Phlogiston currents.
Tupayo's Aid is fought by accessing a Nightsoul Totem which means it does not exist in the overworld. Therefore, you can fight this Local Legend as many times as you can without waiting for server reset.
Tupayo's Aid is one of the Local Legends of Natlan. Defeating them rewards you with an achievement!
