Ironbeard is a hidden boss and is one of the Local Legends of Natlan located east of the Flower-Feather Clan settlement in Genshin Impact 5.2. Check out where to find it and how to beat it in this guide!
Ironbeard is fought by interacting with the Nightsoul Totem directly east of the Flower-Feather Clan's settlement in the Quahuacan Cliff.
While indwelling a Qucusaur from the settlement's northern teleport waypoint, pick up the Scorchwind Conflux to gain temporarily unlimited Phlogiston. Simply fly eastward and keep an eye out for a totem below you.
Ironbeard will regularly create Molten Barbs, which will look like red crystals embedded into the ground. You must destroy these barbs, lest Ironbeard's slam attack will deal significantly more DMG at a significantly wider radius.
Plunging Attacks and Geo DMG will work wonders for destroying these barbs, so be sure to bring characters that excel in dishing either of them out.
Conversely, the Molten Barbs can be used to your advantage instead. Once these barbs get destroyed, they will explode and harm Ironbeard, and throw him off balance, leaving him open for counterattacks.
Thankfully, Ironbeard is a melee unit, so if you stick close to the barb, he'll stay in its explosion's range once you destroy it.
Main DPS | Support | Support | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Itto | Gorou | Albedo | Zhongli |
Navia | Xianyun | Bennett | Zhongli |
These teams, which are centered around Geo, will be more than capable of destroying the Molten Barbs while negating as much incoming DMG as possible.
Zhongli is a staple in these teams due to his exceptional mining abilities—perfect for almost instantly destroying the barbs as soon as they spawn.
Main DPS | Support | Support | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Diluc | Xianyun | Bennett | Zhongli |
Xiao | Faruzan | Bennett | Zhongli |
If you wish to veer towards using Plunging Attacks to destroy the barbs, these teams will be more than sufficient.
Not only will they be effective in eliminating the Molten Barbs, they also boast relatively high DMG outputs without shortage of healing and DMG support.
Ironbeard is fought by accessing a Nightsoul Totem which means it does not exist in the overworld. Therefore, you can fight this Local Legend as many times as you can without waiting for server reset.
Ironbeard is one of the Local Legends of Natlan. Defeating them rewards you with an achievement!
