Beastly Rift is one of the new features in Fontaine in Genshin Impact. Learn where to find Beastly Rifts, and how to complete their challenges, and what they are here.

Beastly Rifts Locations

Mostly in Elynas

Beastly Rifts are exclusively found in Fontaine, and are predominantly in the island of Elynas or within it, in the Land of Melusines.

In order to spot where these Rifts are, look for the dark purple spots on the map and make your way there.

A Gradient of Dreams and Ochre World Quest

One Beastly Rift is located in "A Very Bright Place" in the land of Melusines within Elynas. This Rift can be encountered in the second World Quest of Mamere's Questline, A Gradient of Dreams and Ochre.

How to Complete Beastly Rift Chellenges

Defeat the Rifthounds

Beastly Rifts are summoning circles where Rifthounds emerge. In order to solve the Rift, be sure to bring your best team with you and send those Rifthounds back where they came from!

Defend the Crystals

During the challenge, three crystals will be present within the Beastly Rift, and will be the primary target of the summoned Rifthounds.

In order to complete the challenge, you must protect the crystals from being destroyed and eliminate all enemies in sight.

Can Only be Completed Once

It is important to note that Beastly Rifts can only be completed once. After their challenges have been dealt with, the Rift will disappear, and their spots will become spawning sites for Breacher Primuses.

What are Beastly Rifts?

Rifthound Summoning Circles

During your travels in Fontaine, you may come across glowing purple arrays on the ground. These Beastly Rifts function as summoning Circles for Rifthounds. Approach the Rift and complete its challenge to obtain sizeable rewards!
