You can use the “Key to Some Place in the Institute” to unlock a door inside the Institue of Natural Philosophy. It's located just past the underwater antechamber you first encountered during the Aqueous Tidemarks quest!

How to Get to the Door Inside the Institute?

Objectives
1
Teleport to the southern Waypoint inside the Institue of Natural Philosophy, then head to the door to your left, just past the Tidalgas.
2
Surface out of the water, then make a sharp turn to the right, and you'll see a crack on the floor. Dive down onto it, then swim forward until you see the opening to your right.
3
As soon as you get out of the water, take the flight of stairs, and the locked door should be on your right. Slot-in the Key to the mechanism by the door to unlock it!
