Summer Game Fest 2026 Schedule
Summer Game Fest (SGF) has officially announced that this year's event will begin on June 5, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It includes the in-person opening show, SGF Play Days, and The Game Business Live, with tickets going on sale this spring.
The live kick-off show will be streamed on the same date at 2:00 P.M. PT / 5:00 P.M. ET on SGF's official channels, like YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Steam.

Other Events at Summer Game Fest 2026
Aside from the main live showcase, SGF will hold a Play Days event, produced by video game merchandiser and publisher iam8bit, from June 6 to 8. Invited media members and content creators will be able to try out games that were revealed during the opening show.
Additionally, this year's SGF will see the return of The Game Business Live on June 8, where top industry voices will share their insights on the latest trends in gaming. It is a business-to-business conference that focuses on market trends, subscription models (like Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus), and how games are being funded in a shifting economic climate.

Summer Game Fest is an annual video game industry event that serves as the primary hub to showcase major game reveals, trailers, and developer updates. Founded and hosted by The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley, SGF is a combination of both global livestreams and in-person events that unite the gaming community in one big celebration.
