You can unlock Act 1 of the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event by reaching Adventure Rank 30. You must also complete Chapter 3: Act 5 of the Archon Quest series and Yae Miko's Story Quest to unlock the event.

You can choose to skip doing the quests by pressing Quick Start in the Event Menu!

Go to the entrance of Sumeru City and read the bulletin board.

Genshin - The Most Fantastic Tournament You
Head over to Port Ormos and go to the Nilotpala Cup Arena.

Genshin - The Most Fantastic Tournament You
Go to the stand nearby the stage.

Genshin - The Most Fantastic Tournament You
Go to the marked area on your mini-map and capture the Floating Hydro Fungus and Stretchy Electro Fungus by using the Wisdom Orb gadget.

Genshin - The Most Fantastic Tournament You
Teleport over to Chinvat Ravine and capture the Whirling Cryo Fungus and Stretchy Geo Fungus.

Go back to Port Ormos and go back to the Nilotpala Cup Arena.

Talk to Balfour the Floral Jelly Vendor and train all four fungi to complete the quest!
