How to Unlock Fungus Mechanicus

Complete Archon Quest Chapter 1 Act 3

To unlock the Fungus Mechanicus event, you must reach Adventure Rank 30 or above, and complete the Archon Quest Chapter 1 Act 3, ''A New Star Approaches.''

You also need to complete the Chapter 3 Act 5 Archon Quest, ''Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises'', to get the full experience in the event!

Continue the Story of Fungus Frenzy

Fungus Mechanicus follows up the story from the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Event, where players captured their Fungi and trained them to beat enemies in the Nilotpala Cup Beast Tamers Tournament.

This time, you must aid Haniyyah to test a new game they want to do, and practice defeating Mechanici similar to the ones from the Theater Mechanicus Events!

Old Friends, New Game Quest Guide

Destroy all Mechanici with your Fungi

During the event, instead of protecting the tower, the Mechanicus will need to be destroyed by the Fungus. You must direct or place your Lil' Fungi near the Mechanici to defeat it!

White lines point out the target of the fungi while red lines point out the target of the mechanici.

Command the Fungi with Skills

The fungi will automatically attack the nearest mechanici. You can also directly target the Mechanici by pressing on the area or the mechanici when you are using a skill!

Switch Up Fungi

You can choose which Fungi to direct or use a Skill with on the right side of the screen.

Use Marvelous Gels to Unleash Skills

To unleash a powerful attack, you must use Marvelous Gels that will replenish gradually, but you can also get the Plauditory Protections to get more gels!

When you're using skills, some of them will need an area to be selected first or release the attack automatically!

Meet Your Old Fungi Friends

You can also interact with and feed your fungi friends, who will be staying in Port Ormos during the duration of the event!

Parting Arrangement Quest

After completing the last Fungus Mechanicus stage, you will receive the Parting Arrangement quest, where Hanniya and Balfour give their thanks to you for participating in Fungus Mechanicus!

Hanniya and Souka

Once you've completed Parting Arrangement, go back to Hanniya's temporary residence, north of Port Ormos. There you'll see the Fungi, Bongo-Head, Twirly-Whirly, Kindlejoy, and Blitzara, as well as Hanniya and Souka, hanging out by the tent.

Interacting with either Souka or Hanniya will give you a special dialogue between the two!

Lil' Fungi	Attacks
Bongo-Head	Piercing Waterdrop (Skill): Condenses the power of Hydro to unleash a Piercing Waterdrop that deals AoE Hydro DMG while healing the Lil' Fungi within the party. Bubble Strike: Unleashes a Precision Bubble that deals Hydro DMG. Misty Surge (Passive): After casting 2 Bubble Strikes, the next Normal Attack will become a Charged Attack that releases a Mist Bubble, dealing AoE Hydro DMG upon hitting its target.
Duelblaze	Explosive Embers (Skill): Deploys Explosive Embers at the target location, dealing AoE Pyro DMG to nearby opponents upon explosion. Flaming Breath: Unleashes cone-shaped flames, dealing Pyro DMG to opponents hit. Raging Flames (Passive): Gains an ATK boost with each Normal Attack performed, for a max of 5 stacks. The ATK boost effect will be removed after a skill is used.
Twirly-Whirly	Whirlwind Slash (Skill): Unleashes an Anemo Vortex at the target location. While the Anemo Vortex remains on the field, it will continuously deal Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. Galeforce Shot: Releases a honed wind projectile that deals Anemo DMG. Corrosive Winds (Passive): When a Swirl Reaction is triggered on a Mechanicus, decreases its corresponding Elemental RES.
Blitzara	Thunderbolt Twister (Skill): Rapidly spins around, dealing Electro DMG to nearby opponents a total of 8 times. Thundering Double Strike: Unleashes two swift melee strikes, dealing Electro DMG. Thunder Ambush (Passive): When a Normal Attack hits a target, the target's DEF will be decreased for a certain period of time.
Rocksteady	Bedrock Line (Skill): Grants a shield to all Lil' Fungi on the team. While the shield persists, it will absorb all incoming DMG. The shield will be removed after a certain period of time. Fierce Strike: Performs 1 rapid melee strike, dealing Physical DMG. Crystal Condensate (Passive): Rocksteady's Physical RES and all Elemental RES are increased.
Kindlejoy	Incinerating Field (Skill): Condenses the power of Pyro and enters the Incineration state, continuously dealing Pyro DMG to nearby opponents. Normal Attacks cannot be performed while in this state, but its movement is not affected. Searing Shockwave: Unleashes a Blazing Flame, dealing Pyro DMG to nearby opponents. Suppressive Heatwave (Passive): Reduces the target's ATK for a certain period of time upon hit.
Gusto-Frosto	Frosty Vortex (Skill): Condenses the power of Cryo to unleash an Ice Vortex. While the Ice Vortex remains on the field, it will continuously deal Cryo DMG to nearby opponents. Icy Strike: Unleashes 2 swift melee attacks, dealing Cryo DMG. Delayed Freezing (Passive): When attacked, restores a certain amount of HP to self.
Magishroom	Flowery Flechettes (Skill): Fires 5 enhanced Wildgrass Bullets consecutively. Spore Bullet: Fires a Wildgrass Bullet, dealing Dendro DMG. Flourishing Vitality (Passive): For every 3 Wildgrass Bullets fired, heals the Lil' Fungus with the lowest HP in the party.
Stormstress	Balmy Breeze (Skill): Unleashes a Breeze Field at the location of the Lil' Fungus with the lowest HP. The Breeze Field will continuously heal all Lil' Fungi in its AoE for a certain period of time and clear all Elemental Applications. Rapid-Fire Cyclone: Rapidly fires 3 times, dealing Anemo DMG. Tailwind Assault (Passive): Increases the Elemental Mastery and Movement SPD of all Lil' Fungi on the team.
Stormsage	Conductive Amplifier (Skill): applies the Conductive Amplifier effect to all friendly Lil' Fungi: While the Amplifier remains on the field, when a Lil' Fungus hits a target, a lightning strike will be unleashed, dealing Electro DMG to the same target. This lightning strike can be triggered 4 times. Lightning Destructor: Unleashes a Lightning Bullet, dealing Electro DMG. Swift Response (Passive): Increases its Elemental Mastery.

Flame of Pancha	Flaming Burst: Explodes after a short casting time, dealing AoE Pyro DMG and applying Pyro to any Lil' Fungus hit. The Lil' Fungus will continuously take Pyro DMG until the Pyro element is removed. Interception - Cleansing Flame: Fires off Blazing Sparks, dealing Pyro DMG.
Sharkwinter	Frost Barriers: Creates Frost Barriers, and deals Cryo DMG to any Lil' Fungus hit. While Frost Barriers remain on the field, they will block the movement and certain attacks of the Lil' Fungi. Interception - Frostcaller: Fires off Icy Orbs, dealing Cryo DMG.
Water Mirror	Reflection Screen: Grants a Hydro shield to nearby Mechanici. Interception - Wicked Waves: Fires off Mist Bubbles, dealing Hydro DMG.
Thundering March	Thundering March: Unleashes an Electro projectile that tracks nearby Lil' Fungi and explodes upon impact, dealing AoE Electro DMG. Interception - Thunderflash: Fires off Electric Arcs, dealing Electro DMG.
Whirling Winds	Wild Winds: Tracks a nearby Lil' Fungus and launches an enhanced Wind Blade after a short casting time, dealing Anemo DMG to all Lil' Fungi in its path. Interception - Wind Blade: Fires off Wind Blades, dealing Anemo DMG.
Cleansing Flame	Cleansing Flame: Fires off Blazing Sparks, dealing Pyro DMG.

Ironbreach	Ironbreach: Fires off a Heavy Intercepting Projectile, dealing Physical DMG. The further it flies, the higher DMG it deals.
Mystic Energizer	Ambush - Resonant Formation: Grants buffs to other Mechanici and enhances their power. When a Lil' Fungus hovers above this Mechanicus, the Mechanicus will be deactivated and you will obtain more Marvelous Gels.
