Dream Form Animals Give You Chests

The Dream Forms in the Golden Apple Archipelago are purple animals that lead you to treasure chests! Approaching a Dream Form Animal will make it retreat into a different animal form in a different location. You'll eventually get to a chest if you keep following the Dream Form animals.

Dream Form Animal Locations

Dream Form animals appear in Pudding Isle, Broken Isle, and Minacious isle. Two are on the island north of Broken Isle and one is on the island in the center of the map.

Variations of locations can be seen after altering the islands' map styles.

Change the pairing of islands by interacting the bonsai in Pudding Isle. There are a total of six combinations where these animals can spawn in the island.

This can only unlock after completing a certain point in Kazuha's quest.

The two island styles of Broken Isle can be accessed by interacting the Drum off-shore. There are a total of five animals that can be found in the island's main land.

This can only unlock after completing a certain point in Xinyan's quest.

Seek out the animals in two different Minacious Isle island styles. You can alter the map by using the Place in Water function of the Blue Platforms found in the island.
