The Geochanter Bracer is involved in the "The Discarded Insignia" quest which will only unlock after you complete Summertime Odyssey Act VI.

The Geo Fatui as well as the Electrohammer Vanguard, Hydrogunner Legionnaire, and the Mirror Maiden have quests related to them!
