Broken Isle Underground Pyro Monuments Puzzle Guide and How to Drain the Water

Here's how to solve the underground Broken Isle Pyro Totem and Torch puzzles in the Golden Apple Archipelago of Version 2.8. We'll show you the Pyro Monument locations, how to drain the water, and this puzzle's rewards Genshin Impact!

Broken Isle Pyro Monuments Location

You can only get to the Broken Isle Pyro Monuments by changing to a Short Mountain Style with Xinyan's Drum. Go inside the cave on the southwestern mountain of Broken Isle to see the Pyro Monuments.

How to Solve the Underground Pyro Monument Puzzle

Drain the Water Underground with Pyro Monuments

The goal of the puzzle is to drain the water by applying the Pyro element on all monuments. There are a total of 8 Pyro Torches and 2 Pyro Totems. You have to light up all Pyro Torches for their corresponding Pyro Totem to unlock.

The best character to use for this puzzle is Amber or Yoimiya, since they can easily light up the monuments with their charged attacks.

How to Unlock Pyro Totem 1

The first Pyro Totem puzzle is easy since all of its Pyro Torches are right next to it! Just light up the 4 Torches and the 1 Totem to lower the water level and reveal the next Pyro Monuments.

How to Unlock Pyro Totem 2

You unlock the second Pyro Monument puzzle after lowering the water level with the first Pyro Monument puzzle 1. This one's a bit harder because the torches are scattered. Here's how you get to all of them.

1. Light up the Pyro Torch on the ledge, next to a chest. If you're at the first Pyro puzzle, it should be on the left side of the room.
   
2. Go to the cave where Pyro Totem 2 is and light the Torch next to it.
   
3. Go further into the cave and light Torch 3. It's slightly hidden under the wooden bridge.
   
4. Open the door at the end of the wooden path and go through it.
   
5. Light Torch 4 on the other side of the door. Open the gate with the lever while you're there too!
   
6. Go back and light Pyro Totem 2 to drain the water completely.

Broken Isle Pyro Monument Rewards

Get a Conch and a Common Chest

You can get the Central Camp: Image II Phantasmal Conch and a Common Chest once your drain the water with the Pyro Monuments. The conch is just sitting on top of a lantern, while the chest is unlocked by solving the Melodic Harp puzzle.

How to Solve the Common Chest Puzzle

Adjust the encircled flower until it faces the chest. The oritentation should look like this image:
