Play Through Perils in the Dark

You can only unlock Dimming Mushroom's Call for Help once you've unlocked the area from completing the Perils in the Dark quest of the The Chasm's Underground Mines.

Get to Xamaran's Location to Unlock

This quest unlocks upon approaching Xamaran, a huge fluorescent mushroom in the depths of the Underground Mines.

Location of the Quest

You can access this quest in The Glowing Narrows by either going down the second campsite or by going around the Nameless Ruins then following the river southwards.

Full Quest Walkthrough

	Step by Step Instructions
1	Approach the big mushroom in The Glowing Narrows to start the quest.
2	Use your Level 4 Lumenstone Adjuvant to give Lumen energy to Xamaran.
3	Use your gadget again to clear out three Oozing Concretions around.
4	Talk to Xamaran, then go north to recharge all five glowing mushrooms. Return to Xamaran once it's done.
5	Track the water's flow north of the river to find the source of the foul energy, then defeat the Abyss Mages that spawn. Click to know how to follow it here!
6	Use your Lumenstone Adjuvant to clear out the Oozing Concretion then collect it.
7	Return to Xamaran to finish the quest.

Give Xamaran the Adjuvant's Power

You need at least Level 4 on your Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget to recharge Xamaran with your Lumen energy and advance the quest.

How to Upgrade the Lumenstone Adjuvant

Help Xamaran Clear the Foul Energy Out

Simply use your Lumenstone Adjuvant's Blooming Light to clear out the Oozing Concretion bulbs indicated on the three locations above. The quest locations are not shown on the map, so take note!

How to Get Rid of Dark Mud

Help Xamaran's Kin

To help all kin of Xamaran, you'll need to use your Lumenstone Adjuvant on all five glowing mushrooms. It'll only use up one bar of your energy!

	Locations of Xamaran's Kin
1	Glowing Mushroom closest to Xamaran's location.
2	Electro Cicins will spawn once you go near it.
3	On the path going up left from Xamaran's location.
4	Near some Geo rock bombs.
5	Near a Seelie court and the central teleport waypoint.
