Ipe's Ghost will appear if you catch a fish at Chirai Shrine after clearing Through the Mists on Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact. Help Ipe find Makiri's Charm and unlock a secret Fishing Spot with this Inazuma guide!

How to Complete Ipe's Request
How to Get Makiri's Charm
To get Makiri's Charm, just keep catching fish in the Fishing Spot near Autake Plains. This seems to be random or luck-based, so it doesn't matter which of the fish you go for first.

| 1 |  Go to the Fishing Spot in Chirai Shrine and catch a fish. Catching a fish succesfully will make Ipe appear. Click here for our Fishing System Guide! |
| 2 |  If you talk to Ipe again, he'll actually reveal the location of Makiri's Charm, on an island southwest of Autake Plains. Proceed to that location. |
| 3 |  Look for a Thunderbird Statue near the docks and use your Peculiar Pinion on it. This will unlock a hidden Fishing Spot. |
| 4 | Catch fish until you get Makiri's Charm. |
| 5 |  After finding Makiri's Charm, go back to Ipe's location near the Fishing Spot in Chirai Shrine. Give Makiri's Charm to Ipe to complete their ghost request and get spawn a Precious Chest! |

Who is Ipe the Ghost?
Ipe is one of the ten ghostly illusions on Tsurumi Island. They are unable to board the boat to the afterlife because they lost Makiri's Charm while they were fishing.
How to Unlock Ipe and Other Ghosts
They will only appear near the Fishing Spot in Chirai Shrine after you've finished the Through the Mists quest series and cleared the fog on Tsurumi Island completely.
