Dangerous Autocannons can be found scattered around and underwater in Morte Region, located in the nation of Fontaine! These cannons are either idle or active, where they lock on and shoot at you automatically.

Can be Found In The Wake of Narcissus

Dangerous Autocannons are also part of puzzles in The Wake of Narcissus quest chain! These puzzles are what you need to solve to progress in the Cupid's Lover World Quest as well as the quest chain in general!

How to Operate Dangerous Autocannons

Find the Crystal Receiver Node

To operate the Dangerous Autocannons and stop them from attacking, you first need to find its missing Crystal Receiver Node. These are usually located near the cannons themselves, or floating nearby when they're underwater.

You can also follow the energy flow the autocannons emit to track the crystal down.

Insert the Crystal Receiver Node

Insert the Crystal Receiver Node back into the cannon, then use the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability to override the auto controls of the cannon to manually control them. The red aura around the autocannon should disappear as well!

Shoot the Cannon At Destructible Objects

After taking control of the cannon, you can use it to shoot other enemies or use it to remove destructible rocks that may hide Treasure Chests and other items!
