To unlock this quest, you have to complete both the main Event Quest, The Origin of the Lantern, and the first Lantern Rite Tales quest, City of Chores. Some quests are also time-locked, so check back once the event progresses!
This quest can be found under the Lantern Rite Tales part of the event where you have to complete requests all over Liyue Harbor to increase your Festive Fever level.

Sun Yu and Little Que'er seem to want to release a Xiao Lantern
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Go to Huaguang Stone Forest and talk to Sun Yu. |
| 2 |  Give a Qingxin Flower to Sun Yu. If you have no Qingxin, you can get those on top of the mountains nearby. |
| 3 |  After giving a Qingxin to Sun Yu, talk to him again. Then teleport to Mt. Tianheng and go to the designated location where you will find Zhiruo. |
| 4 |  Follow Zhiruo while she is walking, talk to her when she stops walking. You will have to do this three times |
| 5 | Head back to Huaguang Stone Forest and talk to Sun Yu to finish the quest. |
