fr, I don’t even know why we’re comparing qq to baizhu when her problems aren’t just application (ER, cooldown, no other support whatsoever and her element in general makes her hard to slot over others and these are just to name a few). Baizhu still has decent single application, amazing heals that has no requirements to be near something, dendro buffs, small shield for oneshot. If you all haven’t realized kokomi usage has been lowering since his release and he’s in more teams then her
while kokomi? where to put her nowadays? even during pyro lector abyss back then, using baizhu to trigger burning on pyro lector so your hydro dps could vape consistently was more effective.
the corrosion is not just rifthounds things anymore. there is character named furina who have the same mechanic. she drains hp but rewards you with big buff if you heal the whole team to full hp asap. with baizhu its clear where and when to use him. furina in the team? use baizhu. rifthounds? baizhu the best counter. healer who can buff dendro teams? use baizhu.
probably because dendro is the most reaction focused element but even still I don’t think it’s fair to rate him S over that small thing when his value and sustain abilities more than make up for and his usage has doubled after furina release and is starting to rise as one of the most used in abyss. It’s like I said most dendro teams are played with second dendro and he isn’t even meant for application, he’s meant for survivability and a bit of buffs on the side.
but Qiqi is not Baizhu are you confused? Baizhu does have buff dedicated for dendro teams, decent off field dendro application that follows you around. His high healing just from his skill is at least useful to counter corrosion. Are we really ignoring all these pros and focus on his application alone? I dont get it.
Same as Furina who has mid single target hydro application. But rated high in support because her main role is buffing.
and I am sure Zhongli is not SS support because of his geo application either but because of his strong defensive power. So why the standard changes when rating Baizhu?
ok so where does this elemental application of kokomi is so highly used if it is so important? she is not even top pick hydro to break pyro lector shield anymore.
Since elemental application is one of the most high demand type of supportive utility hence why Baizhu was rated lower than Kokomi. Altho I gotta say, Baizhu is not a bad healer to bring along with, he is higher S-tier and I accept that.
People seems to argue about Baizhu and Kokomi so here's the thing. Baizhu not being SS is mostly due to his Dendro application not his healing so I can at least assure you that. Higher rating healer rated not purely for their healing power but for other task too such as damage buff, elemental application, sub-dps etc hence why Qiqi doesn't sit any higher in the tier list no matter how much people scream "her healing is the strongest of all healer characters in this game" (cont)
at least she still does good dmg though, i personally have fun with her and furina mono hydro but like I said, most dps these days don’t want her. Dendro teams want baizhu or kuki, other dps like wanderer and Hu Tao want zhongli, pyro and other dps want Bennett and the list goes on. So yeah while she’s still good she doesn’t bring as much value as she used to and the only good team that I can think of that has her as a biS in ayaka freeze which nowadays isn’t good.

navia only big dmg are the two nukes (major dps loss if both nukes dont crit) after that she normally hits around 8k-10k even with buffer. vape hu tao could easily surpass her with how fast hu tao do her ca (although purely st dmg). both ganyu and ayaka should be lower than childe and ayato. cryo dps barely has place in meta. so s tier list main dps would look like this. c2 raiden, c1 hu tao, navia, lyney, childe, ayato, nahida, tighnari, rizzley, ayaka, ganyu and itto.
ig not everyone is into overload.
there is no team where you could put raiden as pure battery support flex whatsoever. only rational appreciates this cuz this team allows you to use raiden without wasting her kit. in other teams, usually kazuha/kuki/yelan with xiphos/favonius solve team er issue already. raiden is a waste of a slot.

Maybe Navia C0 in SS could be nice (I'm Navia main so little biased) but I would put her over Hu Tao because my shit built Navia deals more skill dmg then my well built Hu Tao burst, so I would put Navia SS higher then Hu Tao and let Hu Tao last SS or top 1 S tier besides Linsey. Ganyu could be higher, maybe swap Ganyu and Ayaka, with Ayato in the same place. Furina could be higher then Bennett as support C0
Kokomi I think could be mid S tier, baizhu top 2 S tier if not low SS
Kokomi is still good, idk about baizhu cuz I don't have him and don't really know how his kit works but using him as trial in events I can say he's at least as good as kokomi. Raiden's support abilities are all as a battery, that can be really good if built on ER cuz she makes all the team's ult 100% uptime and deals good dmg, mine did 150k per ult first slash so she's a good burst swap. So yeah mid high S tier C2 DPS, mid low S sub and maybe low S for support, just cuz of her team wide battery
