Cloud-Gorging Chapter Softlock Warning
Rewards Missable Until Future Stages
While the Moonlit Adeptus's Trail event is still not fully unlocked, you cannot replay past levels, meaning you can potentially lock yourself out of available rewards and will need to wait until the next update.
On that note, it is heavily recommended and advised to complete all the side-objectives before completing each stage if you want to cash in on all the rewards as they unlock.
How to Beat Cloud-Gorging Chapter
Farm On The First Four or Five Runs
During the first initial runs, you will be unlikely to defeat the Zhanzhu due to the lack of clear speed because of your base stats.
Therefore, it is recommended to ignore the Zhanzhu when it spawns and focus on lighting lanterns and defeating opponents to acquire more Wishes.

For Stage 1, it is recommended to have these upgrades, especially the Normal Attack DMG and the Number of Normal Attack Targets enhancements.
Optionally, you can also progress on the Techniques tree to unlock the Round Duration enhancement for 10 extra seconds on the field to more comfortably clear it. You can also upgrade your Normal Attack DMG if you find that it is lacking.
Stay Near The Zhanzhu
As for defeating the Zhanzhu, stay near it as soon as it spawns. Your first Normal Attack Beam should automatically focus down the Zhanzhu while your second Beam will take care of any stragglers or obstacles near you.
Keeping steady damage on the Zhanzhu should be enough to defeat it within 10 - 15 seconds, allowing you to clear the stage.
