The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail Stages and Dates

The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail Stage 1
Build Up Enhancements
As this is stage 1, you will be missing a lot of enhancements that will prevent you from comfortably and easily completing the level. Spend the first few restarts farming Wish Crystals until you can afford upgrades for your Normal Attack DMG and the Number of Normal Attacks.
Once you have these, beeline yourself towards multiple lanterns or targets, then hover around the Great Zhanzhu as one of your beams will near-permanently target them, eventually defeating them.
If you are still struggling on this regard, you can attempt to get the Enhancement for Round Duration to increase your time by 10 seconds, which should be more than enough to defeat it.
Cloud-Gorging Chapter Stage 1 Guide
The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail Stage 2
For level 2, you will essentially apply the same strategies as in stage 1. Focus on collecting wishes in the first few rounds to level up all enhancements, primarily the Normal Attack.
Focus on farming the Blue Zhanzhu because they drop more wishes, and use the Celadon Mare ability to your advantage.
Wave-Swallowing Chapter Stage 2 Guide
The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail Stage 3
Stage 3 will mostly follow the strategies used in previous stages. Focus on defeating Orange Zhanzhu for more wishes, and continue farming in the first few rounds to level up all enhancements, particularly the Normal Attack.
Use the Canopy to defeat multiple enemies at once, and the Celadon Mare to move fast about and collect wishes.

The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail Stage 4
The Chapter of Truth stage 4 of Moonlit Adeptus's Trail is a special stage that allows you to challenge all of the previous boss stages. This stage does not offer any exclusive rewards, however you can challenge it again if you missed any rewards from prior stages.
Keep in mind that at this stage, your abilities will be reset, thus you will need to farm it again. The boss and strategy will remain the same as in previous stages, so simply follow them to complete the challenge!
How to Play The Moonlit Adeptus’s Trail
Defeat the Zhanzhu
Once the battle begins, you must defeat the Zhanzhu and light the Xiao Lanterns within the duration of the round to summon the Great Zhanzhu.
Collect Talent Enhancements
During the challenge, talent enhancements in the form of crystals might appear after defeating opponents or lighting lanterns. Make sure to collect these since they will provide you with the currency needed to purchase buffs to make future runs easier.
Purchase Enhancements
With the Wishes you acquire from repeated play, you can spend them on the Enhancement menu to purchase boons to your health, DMG, speed, or even round timers and special abilities.
These upgrades carry over to future runs, meaning you can accumulate strength for the White Horse Adeptus over the course of numerous repeats.
Dodge Projectiles
Zhanzhu can launch projectiles at your location, so keep an eye out to prevent damage and losing health.

The Moonlit Adeptus’ Trail, alongside the rest of the minigames for the Lantern Rite 2026 are unlocked after initiating the first Event Quest: The Realm of Clouds.
