You are right, when you pair Lauma with Nefer then Lauma going full EM ER is a good call. Get as much EM as you can, enough ER to keep burst up and then take any crit stats that show up without interfering with EM and ER. The crit isn't very important, but it is still better than any other stat after EM and ER. EM>ER>crit

1.There is no such thing as a character design that everyone will like. 2. Having variety allows more people to have characters they want. 3. Its a company's job to make what people will buy. If you can't accept these facts then gacha games may not be for you.

Dehya and Lauma the best burning landminers on the aoe field. haha
It will increase the damage of her Elemental Skill, which can do a decent amount of damage, and also add a bit to her normal attacks if she is using them. That said I would only worry about crit after maxing elemental mastery and getting enough energy recharge to keep her Elemental Burst up. Think of the crit as a nice bonus after you meet those priorities.
Why are crits recommended for her artifact substats? Aren't her lunar blooms on a fixed crit rate, so her personal stats don't influence the crits?
Kuki Shinobu is in one of the other hyperbloom teams they list, so they probably assumed people could mix and match on their own instead having to list every possible variation. Also, if Lauma is C1 or higher she becomes a healer, so listing a team with that possibility in mind is reasonable.
why they not put this team: nahida xingqiu kuki lauma. the hyperbloom team this website suggest doesn't have healer which is risky for aggressive enemies
This build page should add Kinich in best team comp, he's way better than Alhaitham imho, put Nilou + Lauma + Furina + Kinich (and Ajaw) as DPS and everything around melts crazy fast with the Dendro RES shred and loads of bountiful cores popping up.
The post from the person was not wrong. Lauma has 1 strong hit with skill hold, after this her skill damage as sub dps is really low. She is a supporter with 1 strong hit each rotation.
