While the Featured character is locked to both stages, other characters alongside the Trial character can only be used once. This means that if you use the trial character from the first half, you won't be able to use it in the second half, and vice-versa.

Bring Freeze Teams For First and Second Half
For the first half, we recommend bringing a Hydro DPS and Sub DPS for your Freeze Team due to the Hydro DMG buff you can receive after triggering the Frozen reaction, like Neuvillette, Yelan, Tartaglia, Ayato, Candace, or Xingqiu.
In the second half, bring at least one Hydro and Cryo character to pair up with Ayaka and Escoffier, like Shenhe, Kokomi, or Mona. You could also opt not to choose Ayaka and replace her with Wriothesley or Ganyu.

How to Obtain 4000 Points

Choose Hard, Very Hard, or Fearless Difficulty
The 4,000 points can be obtained in Stage 3 by choosing either Hard, Very Hard, or Fearless difficulty, where enemies are fairly easy to defeat.
If you are lacking high-level characters, you can go for the Hard difficulty where enemies are only at level 70. If you have decent well-built characters, you can go for the Very Hard and Fearless difficulty for a higher score.
16,000 Points is Strictly for Well Invested Teams
The 16,000 points can only be achieved in Dire difficulty with a well invested team, having multiple character constellations, signature weapons, and high tier artifacts and builds.

Freeze the Breacher Primus to Prevent Shield
Freeze the Large Shatterstone Breacher Primus by consistently hitting it with Hydro and Cryo attacks to prevent it from summoning an elemental shield onto itself.
Once it obtains a shield, it can make you lose a lot of time in trying to break it and will deliver continuous deadly AoE attacks. Luckily, the shield can be broken by using other elemental attacks.

All-Binding Frost Second Half Strategy
Be Aware of the Hydro Mimics
Once you start the second half of Stage 3, do not use any Hydro attacks as you will encounter two Hydro Mimics as your first two enemies. Focus on applying Cryo attacks to freeze and immobilize them, giving you an advantage.
The Hydro Mimics will always spawn after defeating the two Rockfond Rifthounds.
Use Hydro Attacks Against Eremite Scorching Loremaster
In the second half, you will also encounter the Eremite - Scorching Loremaster that can summon a Pyro Scorpion. A good strategy is that you can try to perma-freeze the Eremite to prevent it from summoning its pet.
In case you fail to freeze the Eremite, you can use Hydro attacks to quickly defeat the Pyro Scorpion in mere seconds.

Use AoE Heal Against Rifthound Attacks
Rifthound attacks cause decay in your whole party's HP, where all of your characters' HP decreases for a certain period of time. To stop this, you need an AoE Healer that can heal your whole party, like Escoffier and Kokomi.

| Second Half: After a character triggers Frozen on an opponent, a localized downpour will be unleashed at that opponent's position that deals AoE Hydro DoT. Additionally, all Cryo party members' Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts will deal 60% more CRIT DMG for 5s. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |
