The Kaboom Box gadget is obtainable through in-game mail in version 5.0. Along with the gadget, you will also get 1,600 Primogems, two Fragile Resins, one Sanctifying Elixer, and the Firstborn Firesprite pet gadget!

After receiving the Kaboom Box in the mail, go into your inventory and find the gadget to place it in the overworld. Like the Serenitea Pot and Parametric Transformer, the gadget will be unable to be placed in some areas.

Genshin - How to Use Kaboom Box - Hit the Box

After placing the Kaboom box, you can use Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills to hit the gadget until it explodes.

The number of hits required to cause the box to explode is random, so try taking turns attacking the box with your friends to see who can get it to burst!

But the amount of force needed to trigger this explosion seems to vary each time... So why not take turns attacking it with your friends? They say that whoever makes it go kaboom will have extraordinarily good luck for the rest of the day.
