In Stage 3, you must destroy the Wayob's shield 4 times within 60 seconds to obtain all of the buffs for the next phase. It's best to use quick Elemental Reactions to destroy the shield quickly.
Kinich and Dehya are provided as trial characters, making it easier to supplement them with supports such as Xingqiu, Thoma, or Xiangling for strong Burgeon or Burning teams.
Kinich is Not Recommended for Max Points
Despite being presented as one of the available trial characters, the trial Kinich does not have enough damage or consistency to be able to take down four Wayobs comfortably.
For players looking for the maximum amount of trial of thorns buffs, we recommend using a different Main DPS that either deals more damage or is more consistent than Kinich for this stage.
How to Break the Wayob's Shield
To break the Wayob's shield quickly, use fast-hitting characters or characters with multi-hit Elemental Skills or Bursts, as the Wayob's shield reacts to every form of damage and is brought down easier by the frequency of hits.
If it ends up generating its Elemental Shield, use the corresponding reactive element to break it, as is with every shielded opponent.
Use Off-Field Support's Elemental Burst Right Before Starting
Every time the Wayob's shield goes up, all Elemental Burst energy from your party is removed. To avoid wasting them, you should activate the Elemental Burst or Skill for your off-field supports such as Xiangling, Furina, or Nahida right before starting.
This is recommended to be done as quickly as possible to avoid wasting too much of the burst up-time. Right after starting, use your main DPS' Elemental Burst, and proceed to defeat the Wayobs!

Defeat as Many Opponents as Possible
All of the buffs obtained for Stage 3's Canticle of Crowns focus on using and increasing Elemental Burst DMG. Teams that are centered around Elemental Bursts such as Ayaka's and Raiden's are best to use in this stage.
Use the Strongest Attacks for the Consecrated Horned Crocodile and Flying Serpent
Stage 3 enemies include Consecrated Horned Crocodile and Consecrated Flying Serpent, both of which have high HP and can take up a lot of time to defeat! It's best to beat them as quickly as possible with your strongest attacks to save time.

 After a character uses their Elemental Burst, they gain a Geo Shield that absorbs DMG equal to 35% of their Max HP for 7s.  After a character uses their Elemental Burst, it grants the party one stack of "Accumulation." Each stack of "Accumulation" increases the CRIT Rate of the Elemental Burst by 7.5% for all party members for 8s. This effect can stack up to 4 times.  After a character uses their Elemental Burst, they summon a "Lightfall" centered on characters on the field, dealing True DMG to nearby enemies. Additionally, when "Lightfall" descends, the number of "Lightfalls" increases based on the number of "Accumulations." You can summon up to 3 "Lightfalls" each time in this manner. Increases all party members' Elemental Burst DMG by 60% and CRIT DMG by 90%. |
