The Legend of the Mysterious Island is located at village of the People of the Springs, which can be found the nation of Natlan. From the Those Searching for the Mysterious Island Quest, players must head west and cross a body of water until they see the village.

Complete the Prerequisites
Players can start The Legend of the Mysterious Island Quest once they complete the Act I of Where the Springs Return. To be more specific, this is the Those Searching for the Mysterious Island Tribal Chronicles Quest.

The Legend of the Mysterious Island Walkthrough
Look for the People of the Springs's Chief
After parting ways with the tourists from the previous quest, Paimon and the Traveler are now searching for the People of the Springs's Chief to find the mysterious island.
Go to the Designated Location to Lure the Scammer out
After talking with the chief, the players should go to the outskirts of the People of the Springs village. This will lure out the scammer, named Kaulu. He is wearing blue clothes paired with a blue hat.
Follow the Scammer Guide
Players must then go a bit north to meet another scammer guide named Kaeho. He is an old man with white hair. He also has a camera and a Koholasaurs named Ata near him.
Try to get closer to Ata and take a photo together
On the same spot, players must go near Ata, the Koholasaurs, and take a quick photo.
Follow the Directions to the Designated Location
Afterward, Kaulu asks for even more Mora to interpret more clues. Eventually, he finds a shortcut to the mysterious island.
Eventually, he tells the player to go to a new indicated spot he got from Ata, the Koholasaurs.
Reach the Mysterious Island
Kaulu suddenly reveals that he got a revelation from Ata, the Koholasaurs. Thanks to this, he takes Traveler and Paimon to the mysterious island itself. Once the pair arrive at their destination they see nothing but glowing stones and old boxes. This eventually leads to a confrontation and a chase.
