Complete Archon Quest Prologue Act 3

Players must be at least Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Archon Quest Prologue Act 3 - The Song of the Dragon and Freedom to be able to unlock the Roses and Muskets event quest!

Prologue: Act 3 Archon Quest Guide

Complete the Archon Quest, Raiden Story Quest, and Furina Story Quest for the Full Experience

To avoid spoilers and get the full experience, you can first complete the Archon Quest Chapter 4 Act 5 - Masquerade of the Guilty, Raiden Shogun Story Quest Imperatrix Umbrosa: Act II, and Furina Story Quest Animula Choragi Chapter: Act 1.

It is not necessary to complete these quests to access the event but it is recommended!

The Crack of Muskets Breaking the Silence Walkthrough

Go to the Square in the Court of Fontaine

Head to the Square in the southern part of the Court of Fontaine using the Teleport Waypoint. The first cutscene begins as soon as you teleport to the area!

Go to the Clementine Line Aquabus Station

After talking to Xavier, teleport to the main Aquabus station at the center of the city. Go to the second floor, Clementine Line using the lift to meet Chiori and trigger the next cutscene.

Go to Hotel Debord

After meeting up with Ayato, Ayaka, and Yoimiya in the cutscene, teleport to the Hotel Debord in the Court of Fontaine. Go inside to start the next cutscene!

Players automatically get the recipe for the Fontinalia Mousse from this scene.

Go to Furina's Apartment

Teleport or glide towards Furina's apartment, in the building near the Blacksmith's Beaumont Workshop! Step up to her front door for another cutscene.

Shoot the Filming Theme Directed by Furina

Furina will test your film-making skills with a short script about the Beaumont Workshop. The gameplay is similar to the Into the Frame minigame where you must select a Kamera Position and Narration for each frame.

Frame 1 Narration: Located in the Court of Fontaine, Beaumont Workshop is a weapons workshop that utilizes a forging machine.	Frame 2 Narration: This machine can precisely control the force applied and the temperature, making it perfect for doing exhausting and time-consuming work!
Frame 3 Narration: Thanks to this machine, the owner of Beaumont Workshop, Estelle, can comfortably enjoy each day at work.	Frame 4 Narration: But worry not, for the weapons produced by Beaumont Workshop are of outstanding quality, with exquisite craftsmanship and a keen edge.
Frame 5 Narration: If weapons are what you want, look no further than Beaumont!

Look for Chevreuse in the Square

After getting Furina's approval, go back to the Square and turn left towards a book stall until you trigger another cutscene. This is where the Captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol, Chevreuse, is introduced!

Talk to Chevreuse

After finalizing plans with everyone, go to the side with Chevreuse for one final conversation. The quest will end once you're done talking.

Ayaka and Yoimiya at Cafe Lutece

You can find Ayaka and Yoimiya sitting at the table beside a cooking stove on Cafe Lutece, which is located by dropping down the ledge east of Fontaine's Reputation Guild!

Chiori and Xavier by the Fountain

Chiori and Xavier can be found talking by the big mechanical fountain at the plaza by the entrance to city. Simply teleport to the waypoint there and drop down to the fountain!

Neuvillette and Ayato Outside Palais Mermonia

Outside Palais Mermonia where Neuvillette's office is located, him and Ayato can be found talking to each other on the east side of the area by some lavender planters and a lamp post!
