How to Unlock Waterborne Poetry
Complete Archon Quest Prologue Act 3
To play the Waterborne Poetry event, players must be at least Adventure Rank 20! You must also complete the Archon Quest Prologue Act 3 - The Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

To start the Waterborne Poetry event, complete the Waterborne Poetry Part 1 event quest, Congenial Gathering! You can head to the highest floor of Wangshu Inn to start the quest.

Xiao at Pervases' Temple
Complete Heart of the Deep Event Quest
After completing the third and final quest in the Waterborne Poetry event, Heart of the Deep, you can find Xiao standing by the Teleport Waypoint at Pervases' Temple!
You can talk to him and find out that he had written a poem himself, which is likely to be the one found inside Pervases' temple.

Complete Hereafter Quest Series
It's unsure if Xiao's poem will appear unless you've completed the Hereafter: Return to the Mountain quest series. These quests will build Pervases' Temple right below the Teleport Waypoint, where a copy of Xiao's poem can be found!

Throw Darts in Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites
Throw darts at the Holding Pots to score points in the Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites! Tossing darts through a Ring of Rites can double your score while Sleight Pots lets you throw darts faster, helping you reach higher scores.

Defeat Enemies in Inspiration Eruption
Defeat opponents in various combat stages to obtain Inspiration Crystals in Inspiration Eruption! You can then use the Inspiration Crystal ruptures to defeat opponents with a Mythic Nexus.

Celebrate the collaborative poetry festival between Mondstadt and Liyue to collect Poetry Gala Fervor, play the different mini-games to get various rewards, including the event-exclusive Catalyst weapon, Ballad of the Boundless Blue.
