Complete Archon Quest Prologue Act 3

To play the Waterborne Poetry event, players must be at least Adventure Rank 20! You must also complete the Archon Quest Prologue Act 3 - The Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

Complete Heart of the Deep Event Quest

After completing the third and final quest in the Waterborne Poetry event, Heart of the Deep, you can find Xiao standing by the Teleport Waypoint at Pervases' Temple!

You can talk to him and find out that he had written a poem himself, which is likely to be the one found inside Pervases' temple.

It's unsure if Xiao's poem will appear unless you've completed the Hereafter: Return to the Mountain quest series. These quests will build Pervases' Temple right below the Teleport Waypoint, where a copy of Xiao's poem can be found!
