How to Unlock Heart of the Deep

Complete Tears Among the Leaves

To unlock Heart of the Deep, you must have completed the previous subquest of Waterborne Poetry, Tears Among the Leaves!

Heart of the Deep Walkthrough

Wait until the following day

Following the events of Tears Among the Leaves, wait until the next day (08:00 – 10:00), and go to the event venue at Stone Gate.

Look for Callirhoe

After convening in front of the Poetry Gala stage, look for Callirhoe who is presently missing. Head to the dilapidated wooden bridge where you first found her from the previous quest.

Chase after the leaf

Once at the bridge, you see that Callirhoe is not there, and that there's a leaf floating along the river similar to what you've found the other day. Chase after the leaf, then pick it up.

Follow Mika

Seeing that Callirhoe is nowhere to be found, follow Mika until you see Callirhoe surrounded by Hilichurls. Chase the monsters away, and talk to Callirhoe about the truth.

Go to Springvale

Afterwards, go to Springvale and talk to Old Finch to fetch him at Callirhoe's behest. Although reluctantly, Old Finch tags along the group, and heads over to Callirhoe's location.

Return to the event venue

Once the events have unfolded at Springvale, return to the event venue to conclude the Poetry Gala event with the whole group!
