Absorb the Xenocromatic Crab's Shield Ability

Genshin Impact - Absorb Xenochromatic Crab Ability

Absorb the Xenochromatic Armored Crab ability with your normal attack to create a shield by using the action button near it. This skill will allow you to negate the Bullet Barnacle's attack and parry the attack back to its sender to destroy it.

Xenochromatic Creatures and Abilities Guide

Counter the Bullet Barnacle's Attack

To defeat a Bullet Barnacle, wait for it to shoot orbs of energy then reflect it to them.

Hold your Xenocromatic Ability button to absorb the energy orb, then aim at the Bullet Barnacle. Release the button and observe as the counterattack breaks the barnacle open!

An Eye for an Eye Achievement

After defeating a bullet barnacle for the first time, players will be rewarded with the ''An Eye for an Eye'' achievement.

Underwater Hazards

Bullet Barnacles are hazardous enemies that players can find underwater. They have similar properties as breakable rocks, but players cannot normally use blunt attacks while underwater. Luckily, Xenochromatic Creatures are its weakness!
