Inviting characters in your teapot lets you taste test your Fragrant Dishes in the Spices From the West 3.5 event in Genshin Impact. See how to get Companionship EXP from inviting characters here!

Once you obtain the Realm Dispatch key item from Tubby in your Serenitea Pot, you can now invite the characters you own to your humble abode!
Quest Guide for Realm Dispatch Reward
From your furnishing placement screen, go to the Companion tab and choose the character you wish to be stationed in the teapot. You can simply add them anywhere you like!
Note that placing characters in the teapot increases your load immensely! You can only accomodate a maximum of 8 characters as well.
Expanded Guide for Character Move-ins
You can start taste testing by talking to the stationed character. Press the “Please try this" button and choose the Fragrant Dish that you'd like them to try!
Depending on the food given, they will have different reactions to the Fragrant Dish and gain Companionship EXP.
Spices From the West Food Preferences
Taste testing in the teapot is the second main activity of the Spices From the West event, which reruns in Version 3.5. It allows you to get Friendship EXP from giving the Fragrant Dishes you made!
