What is the Spices From the West 2023 Event?

Spices From the West is a seasoning event where you make dishes and feed characters. You get the rewards by making Seasoning Recipes and giving Teapot Companions some Fragrant Dishes.

How to Unlock Spices From the West 3.5

Reach Rank 28 to Unlock Serenitea Pot

You need to be at least Adventure Rank 20 to create the event seasonings and Adventure Rank 28 to unlock the Serenitea Pot feature. Afterward, complete Idle Teapot Talk to start inviting companions into your Serenitea Pot.

How to Prepare Seasoning Recipes

Collect the Ingredients Needed

A new Seasoning Recipe unlocks every day for the first seven days of the event. Each Seasoning Recipe needs three different ingredients.

You get the same type of seasoning no matter what recipe you use so we recommend using the items you have a surplus of. We also highly recommend farming the materials you need in other worlds! Use our Co-Op boards to find some event buddies:

Play the Minigame

Click on the "Cook" button to start the event minigame. You win the minigame by clicking on the ladle button when the slider needle hits the highlighted ingredient above. Do this until you get all the ingredients in the right order before you run out of lives.

How to Use Fragrant Seasoning

You can only make a Fragrant Dish out of a Delicious dish, which is a perfectly cooked dish in Genshin Impact. The Delicious dishes need to be already cooked so you can just add the seasonings to them!

How to Make a Fragrant Dish

1. Click on the Use Seasoning Button.
2. Select a Delicious Dish available on the screen.
3. Press the Cook Button.
4. Your Fragrant Dish is now complete!

How to Invite Characters to Taste Test

You invite characters to taste test by placing companions in the Serenitea Pot.

How to Use Fragrant Food

Go into your Teapot Realm and talk to a Teapot Companion. Click on "Please try this!" and give them a Fragrant Dish. This will give you Companionship EXP for that character, but you can only get the Companionship EXP 3 times for each character!

How to Create Fragrant Seasonings

1. Memorize the ingredient order on top of the screen.
2. Click the ladle while the needle is on the right item.
3. Get all ingredients before you run out of lives.

You just have to mix all of the ingredients into the pot in the right order before your lives run out. You lose lives when:

• You click on an empty part of the slider.
• You click on the wrong ingredient.
• The needle hits the edge of the slider.
