Where are the Wenut Tunnels?

Beneath the Sands of Al-Azif in Sumeru

The Wenut Tunnels are found underground in the eastern edge of the Desert of Hadramaveth, north of the Khaj-Nisut ruins, and near the Rainforest area. The tunnels can be explored as soon as you unlock Sumeru's Desert area!

Wenut Tunnels Map and Cave Entrances

There are several ways to get to the Wenut Tunnels. Two cave entrances are in Quasayr Al-Inkhida', another two on the east side of Passage of the Ghouls, and one near the Dunes of Steel.

How to Find the Wenut Tunnels Hidden Cavern

Investigate a Stone Pile Near a Stonehide Lawachurl

Southwest of the City of the Deceased domain is a small cavern with a Stonehide Lawachurl. Near the Lawachurl, you will find a small stone pile sitting in the middle of the path.

Investigating this stone pile will make the floor collapse and reveal a large hidden cavern full of puzzles!

Beware of the Consecrated Scorpion enemy located at the center of this cavern! Defeating this enemy for the first time will give you a Treasure Chest.

The Local Specialty released in Version 3.4, Sand Grease Pupa, can be found all over the Hadramaveth Desert, with majority of them located in the underground Wenut Tunnels!

Wenut Tunnels Dendroculus Locations

There are three Dendroculi found in the Wenut Tunnels.

	Dendroculus Locations
49	You can find this Dendroculus floating above the Setekh Wenut boss arena.
50	Underground, south of the City of Deceased domain, hidden behind a pile of rocks.
51	Located in the hidden, lower cavern. Go to the northern ledge and look into the hole.

Wenut Tunnels Remarkable Chest

Inside the lower cavern of the Wenut Tunnels is a Remarkable Chest containing the Deliberation of Choice furnishing. This chest is guarded by a Grounded Geoshroom and four Stretchy Geo Fungi.

Wenut Tunnels Puzzles

Weathered Obelisk Puzzle

In the large hidden cavern of the Wenut Tunnels (revealed by the small rock pile) will be groups of Weathered Obelisks. Three sets will have locked Dendro Monuments, and three sets will be by themselves.

You must hit the Weathered Obelisks surrounding the Dendro Monuments until the symbols match their solo counterparts. Light the Dendro Monuments in the order of how many obelisks are with them from lowest to highest.

City of the Deceased Domain

The One-Time Domain, City of the Deceased, can also be found inside the Wenut Tunnels. You can reach this new Sumeru domain by starting at the southwest waypoint and following the tunnels to the direction of the domain.

Unlocking this domain requires you to light and solve a Pyro Torch puzzle.

Setekh Wenut Boss in Sumeru Desert

The Wenut Tunnels is where the Setekh Wenut field boss is located—a new boss added in Sumeru in Version 3.4.

You can get to the Setekh Wenut boss by going through either of the closest tunnel entrances, or jumping directly into the hole above the boss arena!
